That's exactly why I wanted to write this review. I came in without an appointment after reading the great reviews because my A/C had basically stopped working. They welcomed me right away, found the issue (a frozen pipe), and explained everything step by step so I could truly understand what was happening. The mechanic kept me updated the entire time to make sure everything was done properly, and even went out himself to get a new cabin filter that was really dirty. He was respectful, patient, and transparent through the whole process. I left feeling confident and grateful -- it's rare to find a place this honest and professional. Highly recommend!

Then I got a quote for buying the rotors and pads myself and only pay for labor which i was told $160 (cinfirmed twice). Based on information provided I ordered the parts. When arrived on my day off called and confirmed the information with Amir again. I drove 30 minutes to the shop and now I am speaking to Eli the owner. I told him about the quote and he says "no that price is only for pads and not rotors!". I asked him to bring out Amir which was refused! Then he quoted me $260. He made it sound like I should have known the price was too low!! I told him i double checked with his shop TWICE before coming in and it is Not my responsibility to have memorized the labor for various mechanical jobs!...The audacity to waste over an hour of my life without finching and trying to put it back on me for not knowing labor costs is beyoynd comprehension...never going back there again...I refuse to work with dishonest people.

Finding the right mechanic is like finding the right barber, once they do an amazing job you can't help but go back every time. CBR Auto Care has been my go to mechanic for over 3 years now and each and every time I visit is better than the last. The level of trust they have instilled in me from their transparency and honesty is immeasurable and a trait that is really difficult to come by from most mechanics now a day. The staff is incredibly friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure your RIGHT needs are tended to. They don't try to oversell you in things you don't need, and are always honest and upfront with any issues. That combined with their competitive pricing is just unbeatable! If I can give NO STARS I would! I went in asking for a wheel alignment that being said I'm not a…read morenewbie around cars and mechanics but I get it I'm a women I'm an easy target. I needed it done TODAY as driving around the way my vehicle was is very very bad and dangerous. He "test drove" it and said he could do it today, BUT ladies and gentleman he did NOTHING he did a backwards camber and still charged me full price. My mistake in all this was paying the guy in good faith that he would do the job correctly. he said I was missing the bolt to the pitman arm and that's why the alignment couldn't be done although he claims to be complete auto care... he didn't have an extra nut laying around so he can do the job I hired him to do?!?!?! he didnt offer... we needed to ask once we get the bolt can you align the vehicle? he hesitated and said yea yea you can bring it back. So now, as I'm driving home I notice the car is in worse shape than how I brought it in, after inspection we realized the dumbass "mechanic" did a backwards camber... prayed this man could redeem himself I put the bolt on and took it back.... my friends he did not align the car he stated how he is sooooo busy today I should just leave my car and that's just something I don't feel comfortable doing in a new shop I want to see how they handle my car... I too live in Miami I know how people are. Mind you I stated this from the beginning and over the phone I even asked for an appointment, (you know planning ahead) so moving forward, at this point it's my second time here him knowing he DID NOT do the job he was already paid to do, I told him I need this done I already paid you I'm under warranty I should at this point have priority even so with the horrible job you know you left me with the first day. He didn't even know who I was or know what I was saying he definitely brain farted, he said nothing gave me a blank face so nothing was done I decided to leave as he wasn't going to be an honest person or even a legit mechanic. This guy is a crook why else would he want me to leave my car over night over and over again. He hires people who have NOOOOO idea what they are doing, and he himself has no idea how to work on cars they simply plug up to the machines or remove replace, they are NOT knowledgeable AT ALL! I then made a choice to go to another shop one that again I risked but thankfully was honest explained what was going on showed me print outs on multiple points... even showed what these fools left me with. Photos will be attached, this way you can see what I was left with from CBR and then what I ended with after the new shop... Let's just say these people at CBR would have killed me if I didn't follow my gut and trust someone else. DO NOT TRUST THEY DO HONEST WORK THEY WILL ROB YOU!! HE IS A CROCK and subsequently dumb. Listen, I follow reviews and saw these thought ok just like you BUT NOPE those are reviews he must have paid for. It's not worth doing the job twice his prices aren't even that good to begin with, I ended paying double because of his incompetence.

I can't say it was a great, or fair, experience... but when compared to other mechanics & services they are definitely the lesser evil. --don't get me wrong, I like then, but don't get it twisted, it's ALL about money!! You as the customer are gonna pay above standard prices for average labor - which is better than above standard prices for shjt service everywhere else ... for example I was at *Phoenix auto-repair and it quickly became a nightmare, which I'm taking them to court for , that's how I ended up at Mac's to fix the horrid mistakes the other mofo inflicted on my van. If you do Mac's for more than basic maintenance, I suggest you go in on Tuesday; Mondays is a shjt show there; they close their "tickets" on Fridays, they have a half day on Saturday, and don't open Sunday - hence Monday drama... When I say they close their tickets- I also mean you best hope they are done with your vehicle cause they mentally reset & you get what you get on Saturday, grant that they in general do a good job at fixing the initial problem ... definitely, they will get you rolling out - but if an issue is not on the list ...say an issue not related or is parallel to the issue being fix - they are not inclined to ' see' ... They never test drive - either out of confidence or business model-- they jûst don't -- & looked at me if I had two heads for suggesting it... As you can tell I spent a lot of time and money at Mac's... It was fkn tedious... But I'm glad it was them... and not an undoubtable a-hole, like the one I originally escaped from!!

After several hours there and about $200 to run diagnostics, they said it would it would be over $3000 and, by the way, wouldn't have the parts until the next day. We had noticed Ferrara while driving to the dealer so thought it couldn't hurt to see what they say. We told them of the problems that we were having and the codes that were read. They figured out the problem and gave a price considerably lower. They gave us a ride back to our hotel and had the work completed by 4:00 that afternoon. I can't say enough about the professionalism and integrity of the people that we interacted with. I would give more than 5 stars if possible.
