They managed to fix the computer for a low price (I won't quote the price because I don't want to mislead anyone - everyone's computer has a different level of brokenness). And where something could not be fixed, they explained what was wrong and advised a new solution. Careful with pick up and drop off, as between 3-5:30pm its a clearway and you can't park out the front. The nearest cross street is not too far, but if you can't carry your hard drive for more than a minute while walking then don't attempt this. There is a carspace at the back of the shop but it is hard to determine which one it is from the back lane. So pretty much, park opposite or go earlier.

We've tried three different printing places and one massive joint where Officework ...ers go. No luck - wrong format , need a different USB, cant format on a PC - do we have a PC at home. In desperation I get on the net. Someone suggests I speak with Paul at Cloud Print Creative. "Easy" he says "just email it to me." Half an hour later I'm trying to find his office in an industrial complex in Chatswood. Once located Paul hands over three beatifully printed posters on quality stiff paper. He's at work on his own, printing machines everywhere all super high tech stuff. And a bag of golf sticks leaning against a desk. Cool. " Whats the damage?" I ask, in a full crouch having already calculated how fast I can sprint to the car. "Dont worry about it mate - such a small job" When I get I get home I have a very happy son and a hugely relieved wife. Got on the net and checked these guys out. Turns out they are big, contracts with Hamilton Island, Kawasaki, those massive posters you see at the airport - these guys made them. I rang Vertifix and from our first conversation, I knew that Wayne knew what he was talking about and was completely on the same page about the type of look and feel I wanted to go for. He even had the envelopes on hand to suit the size of the invitations and in the colours and finish I wanted. I ventured out to see him the next day, and I showed him the 3/4 finished artwork I wanted to get printed and he had his crafty graphic designer Jorge make them print ready at no cost (just checking it over to see it was ok for print and PDFing it for me) and then Jorge made little additional stationary elements with the same design look and feel for a small fee, which I also got printed with them. They were all done on the same day on which I asked for them, and as promised, they looked sublime! Super friendly, extremely efficient and fast, with fantastic knowledge and customer service, the guys here really blew me away. I felt like I could trust them since they were so obliging and ready to help me out with all aspects of the job. Let's face it - most print jobs are important, right? You're trying to make an impression with something be it a report or presentation, marketing materials or personal invitations etc...
