I sent my A5 prints (that I sell to clients) to these guys and followed up 2 days later just to see…read moreif they'd be ready soon (not in a rude way, I was just following up to make sure my email hadn't gone missing) - I was told they'd be ready in the afternoon, so I went down to collect them late in the afternoon only to be greeted by a rude mumbling man. I offered to come back the next day, but he said he could get the prints finished. He printed them in a few minutes - 2 up on an A5 sheet with my crop marks on them. I don't know about you but when I order an A5 print I expect it to be trimmed to A5 size?! He then said I had to draw the crop marks on properly if I wanted them trimmed.. err.. so I did, I came around the counter and drew the crop marks and he trimmed them. However, in trimming them he left marks all over one print. I paid almost $25 for three A5 prints, one with marks on them, and no plastic sleeve or packaging was given for me to put them into something while I walked back to the office, all with rude, horrible grumbly service. He did ask if I was a student (I'm not - I've been graduated from uni for 10 years now) and I can't help but think his rude service was because he thought I was a silly little student. Shame he won't be getting any of the business passed on from the clients I get. Worst customer service I've ever had.

We've tried three different printing places and one massive joint where Officework ...ers go. No luck - wrong format , need a different USB, cant format on a PC - do we have a PC at home. In desperation I get on the net. Someone suggests I speak with Paul at Cloud Print Creative. "Easy" he says "just email it to me." Half an hour later I'm trying to find his office in an industrial complex in Chatswood. Once located Paul hands over three beatifully printed posters on quality stiff paper. He's at work on his own, printing machines everywhere all super high tech stuff. And a bag of golf sticks leaning against a desk. Cool. " Whats the damage?" I ask, in a full crouch having already calculated how fast I can sprint to the car. "Dont worry about it mate - such a small job" When I get I get home I have a very happy son and a hugely relieved wife. Got on the net and checked these guys out. Turns out they are big, contracts with Hamilton Island, Kawasaki, those massive posters you see at the airport - these guys made them. What if, every time you had a problem there was someone like Paul that happily helped and made your day easy and fun. Do you want to know what I love about Yelp? Well I'm going to tell you anyway. It gives us a voice. I get a chance, however small, to say thanks for a good deed and to give these guys an honest rap. I rang Vertifix and from our first conversation, I knew that Wayne knew what he was talking about and was completely on the same page about the type of look and feel I wanted to go for. He even had the envelopes on hand to suit the size of the invitations and in the colours and finish I wanted. I ventured out to see him the next day, and I showed him the 3/4 finished artwork I wanted to get printed and he had his crafty graphic designer Jorge make them print ready at no cost (just checking it over to see it was ok for print and PDFing it for me) and then Jorge made little additional stationary elements with the same design look and feel for a small fee, which I also got printed with them. They were all done on the same day on which I asked for them, and as promised, they looked sublime! Super friendly, extremely efficient and fast, with fantastic knowledge and customer service, the guys here really blew me away. I felt like I could trust them since they were so obliging and ready to help me out with all aspects of the job. Let's face it - most print jobs are important, right?
