GHB's project has driven his mum round the twist. Water conservation involving power points, inventing an app, experiments and finally an A3 poster. Two months of cajolling someone who would really rather be on his trampoline or on the footy field or in front of a computer game.
The poster is an unmitigated pain, he's done it on a MacBook Air. We've tried three different printing places and one massive joint where Officework ...ers go. No luck - wrong format , need a different USB, cant format on a PC - do we have a PC at home.
In desperation I get on the net. Someone suggests I speak with Paul at Cloud Print Creative.
"Easy" he says "just email it to me."
Half an hour later I'm trying to find his office in an industrial complex in Chatswood. Once located Paul hands over three beatifully printed posters on quality stiff paper.
He's at work on his own, printing machines everywhere all super high tech stuff. And a bag of golf sticks leaning against a desk. Cool.
" Whats the damage?" I ask, in a full crouch having already calculated how fast I can sprint to the car.
"Dont worry about it mate - such a small job"
When I get I get home I have a very happy son and a hugely relieved wife. Got on the net and checked these guys out. Turns out they are big, contracts with Hamilton Island, Kawasaki, those massive posters you see at the airport - these guys made them.
What if, every time you had a problem there was someone like Paul that happily helped and made your day easy and fun.
Do you want to know what I love about Yelp?
Well I'm going to tell you anyway. It gives us a voice. I get a chance, however small, to say thanks for a good deed and to give these guys an honest rap. Hopefully theres a gazillionaire out there who needs a gigantic printing job - give it to Cloud Print Creative. read more
