    Firstly my normal cleaner was booked, so I rang Paul's and I booked a service with a diptank to…read moreclean my bbq and oven. Then I got called back to say there was no diptank, however their cleanerS would do an equal if not better job. On the Saturday a 24 year old student arrived, large bottle of degreaser and a some stainless steel wool in his hand. He clearly had no idea what he was doing and proceded to clean the oven for more than 3 HOURS and then tell me he couldnt do the job and left, leaving a large bottle of degreaser behind and a cleaning job for myself. At the time I rang the supervisor and explained the problem, and I was told they would organise someone to come on the Tuesday with a dip tank. Now, on Monday night, two days before I have to leave the house for sale, I am refunded my money and told it is not possible to do the cleaning. This is a crazy situation to be in and for $350 I would have expected someone who knew how to actually clean ovens and stoves.

The booking process was simple and we were quoted $365($265+100 to sugar soap the walls). However, on the today of the 'clean' an unexpected increase of $200 occurred, they then said they would not offer their 'bond back' guarantee and threatened to cancel on the job which would leave us without the apartment professionally cleaned before we hand back the keys(due to the poor service we did to pay a week extra in rent to clean the place ourself). I came home as they were packing up and spoke to the manager and advised him to leave my property as I was quoted initially $365 and was interested in paying an extortion fee. They kept refusing to leave the house until I paid them, naturally I gave them the $365(unknowing my wife has already given them a $100 deposit). After the whole ordeal I come inside and find that the walls weren't even washed and the place was an absolute mess. I contacted customer service who advised me that they won't be coming back to finish the job, nor offer any refund as the cleaners who visited myself aren't even Paul's cleaners. Apparently it's a franchise, so now the day after I'm yet to receive a receipt despite paying over $100 of the initial quote.
