Firstly my normal cleaner was booked, so I rang Paul's and I booked a service with a diptank to clean my bbq and oven. Then I got called back to say there was no diptank, however their cleanerS would do an equal if not better job. On the Saturday a 24 year old student arrived, large bottle of degreaser and a some stainless steel wool in his hand. He clearly had no idea what he was doing and proceded to clean the oven for more than 3 HOURS and then tell me he couldnt do the job and left, leaving a large bottle of degreaser behind and a cleaning job for myself. At the time I rang the supervisor and explained the problem, and I was told they would organise someone to come on the Tuesday with a dip tank. Now, on Monday night, two days before I have to leave the house for sale, I am refunded my money and told it is not possible to do the cleaning. This is a crazy situation to be in and for $350 I would have expected someone who knew how to actually clean ovens and stoves. read more

Yesterday my wife and I hired Pauls cleaning service for our studio apartment in Surry hills for our end of lease clean. The booking process was simple and we were quoted $365($265+100 to sugar soap the walls). However, on the today of the 'clean' an unexpected increase of $200 occurred, they then said they would not offer their 'bond back' guarantee and threatened to cancel on the job which would leave us without the apartment professionally cleaned before we hand back the keys(due to the poor service we did to pay a week extra in rent to clean the place ourself). I came home as they were packing up and spoke to the manager and advised him to leave my property as I was quoted initially $365 and was interested in paying an extortion fee. They kept refusing to leave the house until I paid them, naturally I gave them the $365(unknowing my wife has already given them a $100 deposit). After the whole ordeal I come inside and find that the walls weren't even washed and the place was an absolute mess. I contacted customer service who advised me that they won't be coming back to finish the job, nor offer any refund as the cleaners who visited myself aren't even Paul's cleaners. Apparently it's a franchise, so now the day after I'm yet to receive a receipt despite paying over $100 of the initial quote. read more

I paid extra for a "spring clean," They clearly rushed through the whole thing. There was hairs left in the bathroom, they didn't clean under the sink or behind the door. Terrible When I complained they offered me $20 back! Which meant I still paid $150 for my flat to NOT be cleaned. I'm talking about smudges still on the mirrors, hairs on the bathroom tiles, laundry not even touched! Disgraceful read more

aPAULing !! Do not use them !!! I booked for them to do a house clean 2 days before my lease was to finish. I asked them to inspect the property so they could give me a proper quote and so there were no surprises on the day of the cleaning, but they did not do this. They turned up with 6 cleaners and then blackmailed me to either (1) Pay 60% more on the figure quoted many weeks earlier (2) Only do part of the cleaning for the originally agreed price or (3) Cancel my cleaning. They unilaterally cancelled my cleaning forcing me to finish my lease late and organise alternative cleaners at a higher cost. You have been warned .... read more

Feel very ripped off by the service given as they refused to comeback after calling them the same day as I wasn't happy with the service provided. I have now been told its passed the 3-day guarantee and the cleaners refuse to come out to clean the apartment properly and unwilling to cooperate. Will now have to get another cleaning company in to get my bond back as the apartment has failed the end of lease inspection . Waste of money and waste of time. read more
