Came here for a corporate holiday party. The venue was beautiful and had plenty of space for the event. There's a large lobby entrance, which is where we checked in. The main room, where the event was held, had high ceilings and carpet floors. The dance floor was tile. The lighting around the room was perfectly dim and there were large windows to view outside. There was an outdoor space that a lot of people were fond of and hung out there. The bathroom was clean and had multiple stalls. The seating was comfortable and they had long tables setup. The food was buffet style with a station for kids offering sliders, pizza, fries and chicken tenders. For the adults there was a charcuterie board and for the main course there was Caesar salad, pasta, fish, and steak. The food was ok. Dessert was pretty good! We had tea, lemonade and water to drink. This is a beautiful venue and gave our event a great space to party! The staff were friendly and efficient. read more

I would recommend this place to absolutely nobody. Not even my worst enemy. At first, the bar and grill doesn't open until 11am. Should be advertised, especially if you have an early tee time. The course let two twosomes out in front of our foursome, who completely slowed the pace of play down. Then, we got messages from the car stating our group was behind and we needed to skip a hole. At the restaurant after the round, the waitress was incredibly rude and left our table in a rush. The place had 3 tables in it and was not busy at all. Overall, I would give this entire establishment a -3/5 if I could, but sadly yelp does not allow that. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. read more

One of my favorite courses but recently has priced itself out. 200/pp to play at a well keep municipal course just isn't worth it anymore. You are better off golfing pga in Port St. Lucie for the same price. The man who worked the front desk on 3/24 was extremely rude and was bothered but us asking two questions. One, for a receipt - and asking if the carts had towels in them (they don't). For 200 each a round, having towels in the carts are basic necessities. He was extremely rude when asked about the towels. read more

A very nice public course. Practice facility is good for public but not for professionals ( no chipping area). No locker room but they do have two showers and two toilets. Small bar inside but not much of a food source. Course is in very nice condition and has a lot of water hazards. read more

What a perfect Valentine's Day this year. I am not a golfer, but my boyfriend is and I wanted to take him to a nice driving range and this golf club was PERFECT. I emailed the club in advance to ask if reservations were needed for the driving range and they responded promptly and so kindly! This is a beautiful course and open to the public, not just for members. The bathrooms are huge and very clean. For $20 we got 100 golf balls to hit on the driving range. He hit most, I tried my best to hit a few. Afterwards, we sat at the bar and had a cocktail. The two waitresses were funny and sweet! We met a few members and enjoyed conversations with them. If we lived closer, I'd like to join a club like this! We WILL be back, and we'll bring friends!! read more

Phenomenal People. Course was OK last week of December. For $175....not even CLOSE to worth it. I used to play here consistently in during winter season from 2020-2023 and I swear it used to be closer to $100 a round when the course was in phenomenal shape. Again, the pros, staff are all awesome people. But in essentially the golf capital of Florida, really just not worth the money. I wish I had photos of some of the fairways and greens because it really looks like it hasn't seen much care at all since I was last there in 2022. read more

In palm beach for an event and was invited to play this "Semi Private" course just north OF PGA in Jupiter. Fairly non descript club house nice veranda etc with outside bar. Driving range "Code for Balls" with artificial mats being used today, while golf carts themselves with GPS have seen better days. Course itself was very nice, well manicured consistent and fair greens, though local knowledge is definitely a plus here. Fairways were nice though would have preferred them to be a bit more plush. Bunkers UGH almost no sand in them more like waste bunkers, not sure of a by product of too much rain the previous days or just the way they are. All and all I nice track, challenging with ton of water, some gorgeous holes. Very enjoyable course to play. read more

Good course, staff and the putting green is fantastic. Snack bar is great too. The reason it gets an average rating is the range is the worst in the area. Either pure dirt or can't get a level lie anywhere. Not conducive to getting good practice sessions in. For the price we overpay on greens fees this should be embarrassing to the Abacoa Golf staff and owners. My only other in town option is an astroturf water range, otherwise, I'm driving 30 minutes to another public course and taking my chances on the quality of their range. read more

This is a beautiful golf course! It is very lush and there's quite a bit of water on the course! It is quite expensive. On the day we played, the greens were insanely fast. The greens have a good amount of slope, and at that speed, it was off the charts difficult. Loads of wildlife, but we didn't see any gators! The clubhouse was very nice, and our lunch was quite good! This a beautiful club that caters to golfers with a very good restaurant on the premises. I was there for a memorial service and celebration of life. My review is on the food that the restaurant offered. It was served buffet style in chafing dishes. The food was absolutely delicious, kept hot where it needed it and cold on the salad items. Service was very good. Items were replenished timely and accurately. There were fresh rolls with butter shaped into small balls. There were two cold salads, plus egg and tuna salads, and a delightful Caeser with just the right amount of shaved cheese, crispy garlic croutons and dressing. Not overpowering, but just perfect. The house salad consisted of assorted gourmet lettuces, tomatoes, cucumber slices and slivered carrots. Two vinegaret dressings were served....a raspberry which I did not try as it was on the sweet side. I prefer a regular dressing and the balsamic one fit my taste to a tee.( not golf tee)...lol. There was a heavenly scalloped potatoe dish and an equally delicious yellow rice. An assortment of small cut roasted veggies consisting of zucchini, yellow squash, carrots and shaved brussel sprouts came next with just a hint of olive oil and oregano.....very good....I ate two fillings of this. The main courses were cut up pieces of white meat chicken in a very good sauce. Not dry but perfectly moist. The London broil slices were very good, moist and chewable. Served medium rare. I had about eight slices despite the fact that I am dieting. Desserts, which I did not eat were cookies and brownies. Non alcoholic drink service consisted of quality assorted hot teas, iced tea, coffee and lemonade. The restaurant itself is very nice with views of the golf course. We were in a small room next to the buffet which was presented to the left of the dining room. The golf course was packed before eleven. Parking can be difficult despite a very large outdoor lot, however a free indoor parking garage is available nearby and within walking distance, maybe five minutes. I highly recommend this place. When I booked my tee time pro shop did not inform me that driving range was closed. Got there early to practice not knowing. Rented clubs. They don't even have a towel on the bag and ball washers have no towels. They don't even give you tees. If you're a lefty go elsewhere. They only have one set for rent. Not very friendly customer service but course is ok. In future I'd take my business elsewhere. Only positive was restaurant and service was very good. read more

I found myself at Abacoa Golf Club for my very first golf experience- my company was hosting a golf-scramble and I didn't know the first thing about golf- haha. Let me start off with why I gave four stars over five- the Abacoa Gold Club parking lot was very small, I had to park off into the grass, it was very inconvenient as my luxury vehicle is not designed for off road parking. I really enjoyed their outdoor villa style bar area- a great place to gather after 18 holes. The course was well kept and clean. The gentleman "hall monitor" as I called him approached us a few times while on the course essentially nagging us about speeding up our swing because we were 15min behind the team in front of us. Sadly there wasn't much we could do as this was a company gold scramble and we can only move as quickly as the folks in front of us. I really enjoyed the multiple bathroom, ice / water machine, snack bars along the course as well as the mobile snack cart that came around from time to time. I am not an avid golfer- but I would definitely come back to the Abacoa Golf Club in the future. read more

This course was gorgeous 5 years ago but its a little under maintained and that's being kind. The carts are OLD, GPS spotty. Nice wildlife tho. The owner Rob Young, dropped the F bomb while addressing my tournament. Really? Its 7:45 AM and he's shrieking at people to get in their carts. Pretty uptight for a golf pro. One cart girl for 88 guys. The food is good here and the inside facility was very nice. Probably would not come back. read more

This is a great course, beautiful and one of the few public courses in the area. Its my go to when I'm in Jupiter and the course is kept in great shape. The greens are fast, the drinks are strong and the ambiance is relaxing. The staff are very accommodating and its very easy to get a tee time within 24 hours if need be. Played there 2/19. Great lunch and servers. Golf course in great shape. We where the last group off the course, it was dark out. The only people other than my group where the guys putting carts away and cleaning up. I took my clubs to the car and immediately returned to get my Bushnell range finder secured to the window frame. To my surprise it was missing and no one saw anything. I am not one to accuse people of theft but I think they have a rat in their midst's. read more

I logged on to the Abacoa website, and it clearly says that the rates from July 9 to October 15 is $30 after 2 PM. I then called to book a teetime for two people on October 15 after 2 PM. A young man answered and made my teetime. Before I hung up I asked what my subtotal was, and he said $100. I said, "but on your website it says on October 15 it's $60 for two." The guy said, "no they change on the 15th." I explained that it was very clear on the website that it says through October 15. The gentleman then got very defensive and said, "look man, I don't make the website!" I then told him to cancel my reservation. Bottom line, they should either have honored the rate that is on their website, or change the website. What would've happened if I didn't ask for the subtotal before I hung up and I got there? read more

No ranger to enforce pace of play. consistently had to play behind a group of 4 with no regard for pace of play, and honestly seemed to play intentionally slowly. Frankly one of the slowest rounds I have ever played. could have played easily 90 minutes faster. At least 5 groups played behind because of this group. read more

Great public course, greens are really nice majority of the time and roll fast. Range balls are a total RIP OFF. $15 bucks for a large bucket of 50 balls or so, $20 bucks for an XL bucket. How about dropping the range ball prices to a reasonable price for the local Abacoa residents who want to utilize the range multiple days a week. Just a thought. read more

Abacoa is the best public course in the area. The greens are great -fast and true. Water comes into play on a lot of holes and the wind can be a challenge. Carts have GPS and cart service starts early. I play this course every year I'm down in the area. Driving range and nice club house. read more

I dont think some of these people actually played at Abacoa... on the recommendation of someone who I paired up wih at Atlantic National, I played Abacoa today and found it to be excellent... maybe one of the best public courses in South Florida... interesting and fun layout, very fast greens, excellent and friendly staff, well maintained. I can say that this will become one of my go to courses regardless of the fact I live quite a distance from Abacoa. I HIGHLY recommend Abacoa! read more

We just hosted a baby shower here and I would highly recommend it as a venue! The food was great and Dena, the manager is absolutely amazing. Very well maintained, amazing club house and intermediate course. Alot of water traps. Had a great time and it was beautiful.

The course is beautiful. We played the day after a very rainy day, so there was a lot of standing water in the low lying areas of the course. Our problem was the staff - the ranger was extremely rude and condescending to our group (4 women). The course sent out a 2-some in front of us, and a 2-some behind us. As such, it was impossible to keep up with the group in front, and the group behind waited for us. We let them play through after a few holes, and shortly after that we were rudely told we were 10 minutes behind (after 7 holes), and if we fell any further behind we would have to skip a hole. The ranger wouldn't listen to anything we had to say (said he "wasn't there to argue with us"). We finished our round in under 4 hours (their target is 4 hours). Even the pro shop staff wasn't willing to listen to our complaint about the ranger (the manager was in a meeting). This group of women has NO interest in returning to a course that treats women that way. read more
