After a new home purchase and more chances of us forgetting to do something with our full-time and side hustle income, we knew it was time to find a CPA, and I'm so happy we found Allison after three CPA interviews. Allison was responsive and provided us tangible things to consider as our annual income tax bill becomes more of a challenge. I genuinely appreciate her transparent approach, her "human-ness" in how she looked at our situation, and I'm glad we worked with her this year. Thanks, Allison!

My former accountant retired, and the new guy who took over his business raised prices six times…read moreover what they used to charge, letting the client base know only after he did their 2019 taxes. The client base immediately fled to find better prices. I was looking for a new accountant. Called this lady. She sounded smart and competent, I was going to hire her. I asked her to give me a price estimate of how much a final tax return (closing return) for a company that is now out of business due to COVID would cost. After getting a quote of $1,700 to do a final tax return, I was shocked. After I told her that it was totally unacceptable, she said that she needed like 12 hours with $100 or $90 per hour, I don't exactly remember, to "set up" the company on her system or some BS like that. The company is dead, out of business, why do you need to charge a horrible amount for set up? This is predatory, and I would say extremely predatory. She also recently moved from "poor" Boulder Creek to Capitola. I bet to look for wealthy clients in a new wealthy area. Terrible experience.
