I guess that's still true but I was surprised at how much the monotone grey-scale of the entire place made it feel cold in here. I guess I'll continue with a couple more critiques. One is that I don't understand why they don't simply keep towel racks in the plus change-rooms as they do at every other Y I've ever been to. It's part of what you're paying for, and though you can get them at the front desk, it just seemed odd that they just won't keep them stocked in the change-room for convenience. The change-room itself was quite small and has virtually no seats which was a bit odd too. Apart from those minor things, the workout area is well stocked and they even have a couple unique things in what is sort of a mini studio in the middle of the workout area. One thing I really appreciate this place as a runner is that their track is longer than most of the other ones as it circles the gymnasium as well. It's nice having longer straightaways so you don't feel like you're turning most of the time. If you're strictly into using weights, they do have what you need here though you can probably find other places to go to for cheaper. However, Y's (including this one) are great for having additional amenities, which includes a full-sized pool, gymnasium, running track, programming for kids and other things. There's also often more a community feel at them and often a chance to make connections too.

The lady in charge, Cristina Amalia Dina, can teach any dance, either American or international style; and she is assisted by another lady who also knows her stuff. The guests can request particular dances (e.g. fox trot, west coast swing) and the music will be provided. I remember one occasion when we practiced five different dances in the space of one hour. When I leave Dance Art I always feel happier. But don't take it from me! Try Dance Art for yourself and you won't be disappointed. P.S. Age is no barrier. I first took dance lessons when I was 81; now I am 90 and looking forward to more dancing after the pandemic.

The dancers themselves were ok. I was furious and they only gave us back half the money. I honestly would have given them the full amount to stay home. Yes, it was that bad.

Only after government intervention did the owner, Chris Mulchinock, agree in writing to send a refund -- but as of 01-21-2026, I still have not received it. See attached screenshots for documentation, including the government case confirmation, and the owner's written commitment to refund. This has been ongoing for months. If you're considering this gym, be aware that getting your money back may be extremely difficult. I will continue the path for the refund, and I will update this review if and when the refund is actually received.
