I go here when I need a certain length of chain cut for my fence, or if I only need a few nuts and bolts for a project instead of a pre-packaged bag. I always get prompt, friendly and professional assistance here. One employee stands out, and that is the tall German assistant, Edgar. That man certainly knows his way around tools and other areas of DIY. While many prices are higher than at other larger hardware stores, the quality of product and service here can't be beat. Even the garden center has plants that are not over-fertilized so that when you take them home, they die from nitrogen withdrawal. Most plants I get from Ace survive and thrive.

After purchasing an ~8lb item measuring ~12' x 8" x 8" for $87 it took FOUR emails over 3 weeks to get an explanation of any shipping arrangement although that IS OFFERED on their HiBid listings. Finally the excuse for delay was that they had too many items to carry to their car (!!) to take them to a UPS store. Then I'm hit by a $92 shipping charge (AZ to central US) with NO previous communication of the cost or conditions of shipping. Calling and speaking to "Kathy" then "Lynn"; she tells me it's packed and "at the warehouse" and I just don't understand that she had SIXTY-THREE packages to pack! Approaching 4 weeks. And still no tracking number. Beware

And she seemed to take a personal interest in my situation, so I highly recommend Tumbleweed Auction.

Not what I expected as I just wanted something as close to the mattress I had. Not a good bisness practice. I will not recommend this store to friends or family again. Very poor Customer Service! Not only were they friendly and able to work with our budget, but the quality of what we were able to get blew us away. We went to another mattress store in town and checked them out first, but there was no way we could afford their prices and the quality was subpar. I'm so grateful that we decided to schedule an appointment and work with this locally owned shop. It was fun working directly with the family and we have already gone back with my parents for an adjustable base and they have not stopped talking about it. Can't say enough great things about this wonderful solution for our community. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
