The customer service at this Aaron's absolutely sucks. I have been renting a refrigerator from them for the past seven months. I am going to be moving and had talked to a manager last month about returning the refrigerator that I won't need anymore, for a living room set.
I went in there yesterday and there was one other customer in the store. There were four employees that I saw. A guy named Mike came over and asked me if he could help me after I had been walking around the store looking at furniture. I told him that I had talked to a manager about swapping out the refrigerator and that i needed a copy of my contract. He said okay and walked away. Ten minutes later, still no more customers in the store, I walked over to the counter, and Mike and Jacqueline were standing at the desk trying to get me a copy of my contract (funny how every transaction requires a contract, and they had problems printing a copy of mine). Jacqueline walks away without saying anything to me, and Mike answered the phone, not once but twice, with me still standing there waiting for my contract.
It became very obvious to me that Aaron'e employees care nothing about their existing customers, only potentially new ones. Mike could not multi-task, and continued to ignore the fact that I had been waiting at the counter, right in front of him for several minutes.
I finally said just forget it, and told him that they had just lost a paying customer, and walked out the door.
About a half an hour later, still fuming at the way I was treated, I called Aaron's and Chris answered the phone, and said he was the manager on duty. I explained the situation, and we were cut off by my cell phone. I called back, and was he told me that he was finishing up with two customers and would get back to me within a half an hour.
TWO and a half hours later, I called back again, and Jacqueline told me that Chris left the store and that he would get back to me when he came back in a half an hour. When I told her that was what I was told the last time, she snapped at me and told me they had gotten really busy and that he deserved that break. She might as well said :Sorry bitch" because that is how she came across to me.
I called her back again, and told her to just make sure that they pick up the refrigerator on July 15th and that they had lost a customer. All she could say was fine.
Chris, the acting manager never did call me back.
