Stonebrook came to…read moreour rescue after a previous contractor seriously botched the remodel resulting in asbestos remediation. Daniel came into a gutted bathroom, and we asked him to pull it all back together again. We couldn't be more pleased with the resultant bathroom we now have. Deniel listened well from the beginning and our new bathroom has every feature we wanted! Daniel started with lots of measurements followed by an architectural rendering of our hoped-for bathroom. When the actual work began, we knew, day by day, which subcontractor would be here and when. If there was a change to the plan, Daniel let us know right away. Daniel knows his subcontractors well and picked the best ones for the needed work, for example we have a LOT of tile, and that craftsman really knew what he was doing! Beautiful! Daniel came by the house almost daily, checking on the quality and the progress of the job. He made sure we were pleased with what we were seeing as well. We signed a contract with Stonebrook as we began the project. As per the contract we made payments as planned and Daniel took care of the subcontractors. It all went smoothly! No surprises, financially or otherwise. Daniel has integrity in his business dealings. We would use Stonebrook again and would recommend Stonebrook to others. Daniel has a real gift for details and organization. He also really enjoys people, both his clients and others. Daniel has a good and warm working relationship for those he contracts with. The wax ring on one of our toilets failed. The resulting leak caused discoloration of our…read moreflooring. We hired a flooring company to replace the flooring. When the installer tore up the old flooring, he discovered that the OSB subfloor had water damage and needed to be replaced. The flooring company provided three referrals for the subfloor repair and we picked Degnan Construction. I called Degnan Construction and spoke to Seth. I explained the situation and Seth came by that same day with Colten to look at the damage. He and Colten took their time, even though this was going to be a small job, checking everything over and discussing how they would do the repair. Seth explained everything in detail to us. That same evening I received a detailed quote from Seth. Since it was a small job, the work would be done at an hourly rate and cost-plus for the materials. Just two days later Colten returned to perform the repair work. The first thing Colten did was lay down dropcloths from our front door to the bottom of our stairs. Then he covered our stairs with plastic carpet protector. Lastly, Colten hung a plastic sheet over the bathroom doorway as the door had been removed earlier by the flooring installer. This level of respect for our property was very impressive! In just over three hours, Colten had completed the work and cleaned everything up. The flooring installer returned the next day and was complimentary of Colten's repair work. We are very happy with the service we received and the repair that was done. Seth even emailed us to see how things were going, while he was on vacation! I highly recommend Degnan Construction. We will be considering them for some siding work later this year.

Since I didn't hear from him, and a week later, we contracted with another company, and are getting our project done.
