Always thorough and informative, taking time to explain what he is doing and why. I also bring my son here yearly.

I ordered glasses (progressives) before Thanksgiving 2019, I believe it was on the 22nd of…read moreNovember. I was told that it should take about 7 to 10 days and might be a few more added in just in case due to the holiday. Well I called 2 weeks after and they did not have an update on them but said they should be in in the next day or so. So I waited more. Well to make a very long story short. I got the following excuses from the staff. 1. There was a problem with the Tenting machine for the transitions 2. The lenses kept breaking 3. The Crizal lenses would / could not take the brown color I have on my transitions. 4. They were in QC and should be there in a few days 5. Call your Insurance Provider and have them look So after being angry about this, I called VSP and told them the situation. From VSP (which at this point was the only one that actually found out some information that was helpful). Called the manufacturer and first he manufacturer that is used (Sutherlin Optical) and they said they were in QC, then the next time VSP called the next day they said they shipped them out in November (lie), then finally said they had to ship them to a specialty lab. I feel like it's ridiculous that it takes 36 days to get a simple pair or glasses made by a local Optical lab. The worst part of it is that the Staff at C&C was unwilling to do anything to find out what was taking so long. At the end I got told on the phone that they were calling everyday about them (which again in my opinion is another lie). The Staff failed to call back as promised. All-in-all this fiasco took about 36 days to complete. I never received an apology or sorry about anything. No restitution, At this point, I will keep my Dr with C&C Doctor Brent, but take my business for glasses somewhere else.

OK, so maybe this is just a current theme for me (having *anyone's* hands near my person), but it is what it is and what it is, is...pure neuroses! From start to finish, my experience at Crandon & Crandon was as good as it could possibly get for a bundle of nerves like me. The front desk staff were more than merely pleasant. Dr. Crandon (husband to the other Dr. Crandon) was a friendly guy who put me at ease, well, if not "at ease" then the closest thing you could get (until he started in with the torturous lights shining in my eyes, but there was nothing he could do to make that any less uncomfortable for me). Getting a new pair of frames here was a fun experience. They have dozens of varieties from Prada to Ray Bans and all reasonably priced. You can take your time if you're extremely picky (guess who?). Today I went back to pick up my hot new peepers and the ladies who presented me with them (and made sure they fit perfectly), also fixed my D&G sunglasses with woefully wrecked hinges for *free*!
