Not only is Dr. Steven Stewart an expert in his field; training numerous Emory medical students, but he always treats my mom and I with the utmost respect and compassion. He spends a lot of time with my mom, who has heart and neurological problems, and we think the world of him. He is a great family man as well with the highest morals and ethics. Dr. Franz is fine as a doctor, but they've made it nearly impossible to contact their office. The nurses don't pick up the refill line and take their time tending to the voicemail, the receptionist won't help unless it's s major issue, and if you'd like to complain about anything they dump you into another voicemail that never gets checked. I need a monthly prescription refilled, and I've gone without for days 3 times in the last 6 months. They've called it into the pharmacy, but they now don't take my insurance. It's at 4:30 when I NEED to talk to someone in the office and they can't be bothered to pick up. They only want to help someone when they're supposed to be working or otherwise busy. It's very frustrating to be a patient here, and likely won't be any further.
