Post evaluation, when I returned the following week for the actual procedure, all went smoothly during the procedure. Dr. Hoch explained each step in the procedure and made sure, I was comfortable without pain. The issue that brought me to Barry Hoch, DDS was resolved with no issues. Dr Hoch was so thoughtful, thorough and explained the entire procedure while he numbed my mouth. Painless injections....for ME this was huge! No pain and like 4-5 injections! The entire procedure lasted about an hour. I felt nothing and I'm the BIGGEST WAH Baby on Earth! I felt nothing at all. Let me start by saying the appointment was for my 30 yo son who suffers & has been diagnosed with severe anxiety. The only dental services he has received during adulthood have been under IV sedation (sound asleep!) besides having one cleaning!! Dr. Saoji was so awesome that I could hear my son say "oh, that's it for the shots, wow, that wasn't bad at all!". I could hear Dr. Saoji asking him how he was doing during the procedure, he kept checking, making sure he was comfortable. I have to admit I was worried that my son might change his mind, as when he was younger & even using nitrous oxide, when the dentist brought out the needle he said no way & that was the end of any professional dental care for years. The next thing I heard was my son say "ok, that's it? I'm all done? I can get up? I can't believe I was so worried all this time, stressing myself out over something that wasn't bad at all!"
