I was really interested in their work and learned a lot from watching them and asking questions. Wayne explained he had 50 years experience in well drilling. He even has a big chocolate lab named "Drillin." Their response time was great! They came out and fixed the problem the same day I called. I really appreciated their work in flushing residual sand from the well after installation of the new pump. This kept the new filter clear of sand. I highly recommend Wayne and A-1 for well service.

In other words everyone was wrong except them. Left a young family with 3 small kids hanging for 3 days with no water. Initially came out and looked and gave price quote and said would be back in the afternoon or next morning they weren't - finally Said they'd get there when they'd get there.

Terrible! Stated one price and billed over twice verbal price quoted. Screwed well up causing 12…read more1/2 years of sand, collapsed rock and sand at bottom of casing causing three pumps to go out from sand destroying impellers, didn't perforate casing and drill into shale below casing so when material collapsed around casing causing water flow to be cut off as only way in was from the bottom of casing. Ended up not having water every spring for an average of a month or more. Was told well produced 20 gallons per minute when well was drilled, first spring (March/April) was without water, Gary said he told me that would happen every year, he did not! Never offered to fix problem or offer any solutions. Tried to bill me for excavation for water line and power even though his backhoe was broke down and he knew we had to have our builder excavated, put the water and power lines in and back fill leaving enough room to hook up the pitless head. All in all, between the pumps, flushing the well every year, continual sand (1-2 inches in filter housing every month for 12 years) sprinkler heads damaged by sand and the valves in automatic horse waterers, and a new well drilled, Gary's drilling cost us over $ 15+k in 12 1/2 years! Wouldn't call him to do anything and know of multiple people whom he has screwed by his terrible work drilling wells, cutting corners.

Run, don't walk away from this business. Vidic was sold to new owners, and I was fooled by its…read moreprevious good reputation. I asked Vidic to drill a well and they took 3 months to get around to it. After they finally drilled the well, they took ANOTHER 4 months to provide an estimate to install a PUMP on the well. No water for 7 months! I then went to American Drilling, which installed the pump within a week, for less than half of what Vidic wanted to charge. Never again. Vidic is too slow and too expensive.
