Had my domestic vehicle, Ford Escape, 2008, towed there for re-attach of dislocated 'Serpentine Belt' which detached during the recent Ice Storm on start up. At the time, March 1/23, "Steve" had all three of his Bays filled with three vehicles and told me at the time of the towed arrival of my vehicle and me it would be four hours before he could make a needed auto hoist available before he could do the work. I Explained I'm disabled but would walk three blocks to Giant Tiger to a bit of needed shopping, return and wait. Forty minutes later I returned to notice my vehicle was no longer parked in the spot the tow truck driver of 'Robbins' towing service was not there. Euro Mobil owner and master mechanic, pulled-Straight-out - one of the three hoisted vehicles with no steering ("blown hydraulic steering line") and brought my vehicle in during the forty minutes I was away. "Steve" came out of the bays to say smiling - I'm working on your vehicle now. NO FOUR OUR WAIT ! Charged me forty dollars and would Not take ten dollar tip!! Just asked that in future, as with all his customers, bring your vehicle, register the problem and leave the vehicle for the day. A very-kind Man and master mechanic and low prices!! Got two different stories on what was wrong g with first engine. Then no communication again for days. Again when we finally got through they gave us a run around of what was happening. Basically just placing blame on other people but themselves. And whoever I was talking to threatened me. Then told my daughter I wasn't allowed to call anymore. So I called head office to let them know what was going on and they got pissed off cause I called head office on them. Had my daughter's car for over three weeks. In all that time they called us once. All other communication was us calling them. So much more that went wrong but all and all I would never use this place again.so an update. My daughter has only had the car for a few hours and it's already breaking down. Totally Incompetent mechanics.another update. So they took the car back to look at it and said it's probably the intake manifold which is the warning on my computer that said was the problem. So they finally fixed that. Regional manager Bill was very accommodating and payed for our rental car during this process. But that does not excuse the fact that I don't think we needed a new engine after all. And they refuse to give me any information about where they bought the engine from so I can research it.pretty sure that's why they don't want me to call the place where they got the engine from. They know they messed up and are keeping information from us. Terrible place to bring your call. And if you look on their website, not a single testimonial for the st Catharine's location. Figures.
