When I showed up 10 minutes before closing, Carson took my driver's license and credit card and I was loading the equipment about three minutes later. It seems to take longer to check into a hotel than it did for me to rent $5000 worth of equipment. The equipment was clean and in good condition, especially the concrete mixer, which I have found at other rental places can have lots of leftover concrete on the inside, so the equipment appears to be well-maintained. Since I picked up at closing, they allowed me to bring it back at opening the day after and only charged me for one day. Drop-off was also less than five minutes and the front staff met me at the door with my receipt in hand as I drove out. Awesome job by their team on a well-oiled operation.

I cleaned out the underside thinking the built up of grass may have overpowered the engine. Well, needless to say I was pretty upset because this purchase hadn't paid for itself yet as it was two months new and just past the point when home depot wouldn't take it back. I was told I had to take it to a manufacturer approved repair facility. POE is one for Yard Machines. They took a quick look at it and opened the gas cap to say "you don't have any gas!" Ummm what?! :/ I didn't think it was gas as I had JUST put in gas the day I last used it! I suddenly envisioned my blonde roots exposed (and I'm not naturally blonde)! LOL!!! We weren't sure so he put in a bit of gas in there to test it out instead of making me go back home to fill it and the possibility it wasn't that and bring it back to the shop again. He saved me a trip and repair cost! Thank you! For that, I'll be your first reviewer and fan.

When we picked up the trailer we quickly realized one of the tires was completely bald and the beading was exposed. We drove back to store to exchange for a new trailer explaining to them it was unsafe to drive. Neither employee cared or did anything about it. They didn't even look at the tire. They told us since we had left the lot we'd have to call roadside assistance and have them fix it. We then pulled around to the side of the building and went online to file a claim (since you can never get a working phone number or anyone to answer). We then proceeded to wait over an hour until they showed up and to our horror the informed mechanic quickly noticed not only was the tire about to blow the entire suspension was about to come off! One of the bolts was completely missing and the other was hanging on by a thread. We then pulled back around the corner and walked back into the store with the roadside assistant, who seemed absolutely puzzled as to why they wouldn't just exchange to trailer when we had asked. Finally with his report of the unsafe condition of the trailer we were finally given a new one. Now, hours behind our moving schedule we had about an hour of daylight to pack our entire house and get on the road. I reached out to the stores GM David and all I was offered was a 10% refund of my $700 rental. I'm so extremely disappointed in the condition of uhaul's equipment and the lack of response I've received from this complaint. If we hadn't been proactive in returning the trailer we would've gotten in a horrible accident resulting in loosing all of our things as well as possibly severely injuring ourselves or someone else.
