I've always paid my bill on same day, and never had any issues with their workers. In my latest request for service, I did ask them to "please use ladder stabilizers to prevent any damage to my gutters." Apparently this p*ssed them off, although I don't know why. Their crews have ALWAYS used ladder stabilizers in the past, and Midwest's website has at least 3 photos showing they use these devices. Attempts to reach someone on the phone for an explanation were unsuccessful, as they do not answer their phone, and no one has responded to my voice messages. Based on this, I do NOT recommend Midwest Gutter Cleaning.

I signed a $4,000 contract in mid-September 2025. I was on a tight timeline before getting new concrete poured. Zack promised a 2-man crew. Only 1 guy showed up. I would have never agreed to this if I knew. Hanging 20-foot gutter sections solo is ridiculous. It took him two days to fully install. He focused on leaf screens instead of downspouts. I warned him it was going to rain. It poured heavily for 8 hours straight, dumping massive amounts of water directly into my foundation because the downspouts weren't on. It caused me so much anxiety about basement flooding. Weeks later, when my concrete was poured, the new gutters leaked and stained the brand-new concrete. Zero Customer Service: When I complained, Zack said he was too busy with other installs. Once he got my money, I was no longer a priority. A second crew came but failed. By early November freezing weather, new leaks appeared. Zack actually told me "leaks would always be there." If I wanted leaks, I would have kept my old gutters! Update (1/16/2026): Zack sent a 3rd crew who spent 7 hours completely rehanging the entire system because the first guy's work was so bad. Zack blamed his subpar subcontractors, which doesn't reassure me as a homeowner. It's YOUR job Zach to hire good workers. Not make excuses for your poor judgement in hiring them. I raised my review to 3 stars to see if it would hold up for the year. Latest Update (7/14/2026): They are STILL leaking. Every single corner silicone seam is split. Zack had the audacity to blame my brand new roof replacement as the cause of the leaks. He demanded "documentation" before coming out to fix the leaks AGAIN. If he looked at his own photos from September and compared them to the 4 times he's been out here, he'd see the shingles are a completely different color. To top it off, one section of the leaf guard is mismatched and randomly thrown in. When you are TOO INEPT to trouble shoot your install problems, blame the homeowner. Unprofessional. Never recommend! Negative -5 stars if it was allowed!

I really wanted to have a great experience with Brothers Gutters because the company came highly…read morerecommended and the color/options they offered looked great. The actual install time was impressive -- a two-man crew completed my 288 feet of gutters in one day, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me frustrated. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent. My sales rep was late to the estimate appointment with the schedule that kept getting pushed back. While he did offer a discount for the inconvenience, the pricing was still higher than other quotes I received, but I chose this company because I trusted the professionalism and quality they advertised. The finished product had several details that felt rushed or poorly thought out. Some downspouts looked awkward and out of place, extending over sidewalks or into flower beds in ways that didn't seem properly planned. To the crew's credit, when I pointed issues out they did make adjustments, but I felt like I had to constantly micromanage the project to get things corrected instead of things being done right the first time. One of my biggest frustrations was the lack of communication during the install. Decisions were made on parts of the project that were never discussed with me beforehand. I did speak with the sales rep afterward about my concerns, but getting clear answers and resolutions felt like pulling teeth. There also was never any final walkthrough after completion. I found metal scraps and debris throughout my driveway and yard afterward, which was disappointing and could have caused damage or injury if I hadn't cleaned it up myself with a magnet. Overall, the gutters function, and there were parts of the experience that were positive, but for the price paid and the reputation of the company, I expected much better communication, attention to detail, and professionalism from start to finish.
