Well, after 20 years our old roof gave out. We checked into about 15 different roofing companies…read moreand eventually had about 10 come out and give us an estimate. The companies ranged from a two man crew to one that employs thousands of people across the country. The estimates ranged from $13,000 to $61,000 and anywhere from one day to a couple of weeks to complete. We eventually selected Dover Roofing's very reasonable estimate to remove the old shingles and replace them with new GAF asphalt shingles. We could not be any more pleased with Dover Roofing and their entire team. From Ryan, who gave us a very detailed estimate, to Savannah, to the entire removal/installation unit (10 very conscientious people) and Tyler, the big boss! Everyone was the epitome of "old school service and job dedication" and strived to see the work was done right. Also, (and very important) Dover Roofing did not find any problems that "had to be fixed" at an additional cost like so many other roofing companies do. Dover Roofing's prices are very reasonable. Given their excellent service, they are a true bargain. Thanks again to EVERYONE at DOVER ROOFING. ps. We're so pleased with Dover Roofing that we're having them come back next week to repair some siding on our house. Well, after 20 years our old roof gave out. I Can't begin to describe how impressed with Jackson Fireplace…read more We had another company come in to give us an estimate to repair a 35 year old Heat and Glow fireplace. They're answer was that it was to old, can't get parts, unrepairable. Cost of replacement, Including new fireplace, ripping out the old one, removing existing mantle, yadda yadda yadda, about $15,000. Dave, from Jackson shows up, takes a look, and "Sure, we can fix this, no problem. 2 weeks later, Dave is back with the "unavailable" part, and 2 hours later he's done. Fireplace work great, it was like he was never here, except that the fireplace worked. He also fixed a problem with the external vent being to close to the clapboard siding. "Who Knew?' Dave did. When you call Jackson, insist on Dave. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and an attention to detail that impressed even me, and I can be a little OCD.
