I have had mostly good experiences buying and selling things here until tonight. I came in with some Very slightly used if not new, tools, camp stove, archery equipment, and an old tool box and air compressor. The two employees refused everything for arbitrary b.s. reasons. One reason was exactly opposite of a known pawn shop rule (no unopened product). They refused a new unused coleman camp stove because "it takes propane". I wont be back to this location and probably wont do business with any AAA pawn again. read more

1 star because the people working there seemed polite. But if this was solely based on prices, it would be 0. Maybe I don't understand how pawn shops work and I'm supposed to try hard to negotiate. But I'm always looking for new tools. And everything I saw that they had was too close to retail, like as in 10-15%. Most of it was damaged. Either broken handles, missing buttons, sanders missing dust pouches and having damaged pads. To make this stuff good again, I'd have more than MSRP invested and I wouldn't have a warranty. I don't understand how they ever move anything unless they don't and they don't care. I wouldn't mind wear and tear if the price was a representation of the obvious defects. I bought a Husky stubby tool set from them once because price was right. Only to find out months later the ratcheting screw driver was broke and the socket wrench wouldn't reverse. Luckily since it was Husky, Home Depot swapped me out. But with this stuff being overpriced and broken, I would avoid tools at all costs. It's too much of a risk. Jewelry and TVs, sure why not. I went into This place with a 10k white gold 20 diamond pendant bitch sparked like the stars i went in and there they were very friendly remarks as i walked thru the door i showed buddy the necklace he took it and appraised it for me tested the diamonds made sure they were real and sure enough they were and finally when he was done took me to the computer and said they would give me 35 Dollars for it like nigga wtf and there whole perception feels like a scam i used to work at a call center and can tell when some one wants to help you out or rob you blind and i wasn't going so i took my shit else where but all in all it looks like a really good place no one was being dick they make it some what reasonable and for that they get 3 stars but honestly more like 2 &1/2 if ur trying to sell something and u know it's worth take it there and see for yourself read more

WOW! DO NOT SHOP HERE! I purchased a ring on a Monday, 4.10.2017. I returned to the store to return the ring on Friday, 4.14.2017. I was told they would only give me 50% of my purchase price. YET!!!! There are no posted signs in the store or on my receipt that returns are not accepted, or all sales are final. The brochure in the store states I can return or exchange an items within 60 days. I was never offered the MPA, Merchandise Protection Agreement. There are multiple cameras in the store. Therefore I will be contacting the BBB. I have been making payments on a absolutely beautiful ring I have on lay-a-way from the big Christmas sale that I didn't have to pay anything at all down on it and they paid the first payment on it, they let me try on ALOT of rings, and we're very polite and courteous , if my payment is due and I absolutely cannot make it there before closing time, I call them and they note my account that I'm coming right away the next morning to pay my payment, so that I'm safe from having my account default and my things put out and sold!!!!!!! I also have an item I pay interest on every month that I took a loan out on, I was offered much more of a loan, but didn't want more than what I needed, to have more to pay back and higher interest to pay, I've never had my stuff sold out from beneath me, they always text reminders of due payments and dates, and have always been friendly, the previous pawnshop at that location called me one time because they knew I'd been in an extremely long relationship with someone and that it had ended and he had came in trying to pick up my properties because he'd taken my tickets and I'd had them make me new ones so I'd have needed payment amounts and due-dates, amounts and redemption deadlines before defaults, etc. The ONLY pawnshop I've EVER had sell my stuff out from beneath me, even after being guaranteed an extension of a few days over the phone, is the pawnbroker on 27th and Randolph!!!!!! I will NEVER forget or forgive that!!!!! I had 5 expensive beautiful rings in there that were very special to me for certain special, important reasons, I trusted the lady who guaranteed me on the phone that my items were safe, everything was good, that I didn't need to worry, so a few days later, as I had promised, I went in to pick them all up, and got the worst deceitful, backstabbing blow of devastation, they had put them all out, 4 of them were sold and gone, and only one was in the display case marked up outrageously phenomenal on price to cost more to get that one back, than to have redeemed the loan and interest owed on ALL 5 rings to take back home!!!!! I was, STILL am and always will be forever deeply heartbroken and traumatized over my very significant and enormous painful loss, I will never do business with those people again, EVER, they have no respect or loyalty and don't value the customers who make their business a successful business that survives and keeps going at all....even though without those customers they wouldn't continue to be a business and that's absolutely not acceptable what-so-ever and so wrong, I highly respect and recommend AAA Ultimate Pawn, without hesitation or debate, they're good people!!! read more
