I have been with AAA since 1983. They were once a company with excellent customer service and you had your own agent, they were competitive on their policies and they talked to you as a human being. Obviously no longer. You call, and are transferred around from person to person and it takes way too long to get any service at all. I will be switching to GEICO or another company as soon as I possibly can. They are now in business to take your money and not ever return a cent. I don't care to be lectured when I pay 5k a year for my at least 5+ year old cars. You all should save the money you waste on the terrible TV commercials and get your employees some training. read more

Used their Notary service as a walk-in and it was great. They can't do all types, like real estate ones, so call ahead to check. Valerie was my Notary and she was experienced with the process. If you are a AAA member you get a slight discount as well. read more

AAA Sonora is still barely earning a ONE STAR RATING: Mackenzie E. (Business Owner) emailed with request for more specifics (also my AAA #). I responded, followed up once and now (days later) have not heard back.. ... Hi Mackenzie, All right, I'm curious what you have to say. On top of the nonsensical wait, two of your staff were downright nasty. When I asked for the second window to be opened, was told one or two of your reps were on break and the other person just came in to do something 'important'. I find it difficult to believe this is the first time they exhibited such poor customer service. read more

Excellent customer service from Taylor. Thanks for making my switch from SoCal to NorCal so easy!

Prompt courteous service by English speaking agent who seemed interested in getting the job done. Yea AAA.

I switched to triple AAA for Auto Insurance, I went to the office and was greeted kindly. Since. the salesperson was out on lunch they asked if I could come back in an hour, but I had another Appt at that time. Dianne Nowack came up and said, "I could help you". I was thrilled. She was awesome and had a Fantastic work ethic ! I loved her tiara and Christmas headband, which was very fitting because she helped me in a timely manner and explained the auto policy and Triple AAA memberships to me. I love the fact that she was so professional , yet friendly, I actually knew what I was signing up for. Thank you Princess Dianne for all your help! Much Appreciation! read more

I would not recommend AAA insurance. I had a girl fall asleep in a car behind me and hit me. She admitted to it and in police report the accident was 100% her fault. She had insurance but AAA would not pay for the medical in my accident . My credit was destroyed and I have creditors calling me for an accident that was not my fault. I lost time from work and my cars value went down. Hours wasted on phone with AAA and no help. AAA would not bother trying to fight with the other insurance company because they knew the other company would not pay . My own insurance company pretty much told me to handle it myself. Isn't that what I pay them for? I'm going to have to make a complaint with the insurance commission of California about AAA . This has been a nightmare. Never dealt with such a bad company read more

The lady that works in there. She is so pleasant, so nice and very informative on the issues that you need for DMV, which is such a delight.

I have had a membership with AAA for my Auto, Home & Life Insurance since 1973. The Premier Emergency for your Vehicle has been very valuable to me. Recently, I had to have AAA take care of an accident. I had been Rear-ended. AAA contacted the other insurance, took pictures of my vehicle and set up the repair and rental vehicle needed. I can not recommend AAA enough. Sure I could have gone to cheaper insurance over the years, but saving $10.00 wasn't a big enough saving and I would have lost a few perks. read more

Maybe I'm spoiled by the great customer service I receive from other local insurance agencies. Yes, AAA offers DMV services. They also treat you like the DMV treats you. I went to the office to make a payment and had to wait 15 minutes. In my 15 minute wait I watched many customers come in with simple needs or questions and treated very rudely. If you don't read the 5 signs on the wall you will definitely be yelled at by a rude lady from across the office telling you to check in with another rude lady who will tell you there's a wait and to go sit in a chair. However, three stars and not one because the guy who took the payment was super nice, extremely knowledgeable, and even helped me reduce my premium before I paid. read more

Not the best service from Kathy who handles purchasing tickets to amusement parks. She was not interested in coming to the counter to speak with me, she just hollered from her desk that she was not about to help me purchase tickets to universal studios because there are too many problems with them. Another nice young lady stepped in between the counter and desk and apologized to me for Kathys unprofessional conduct. I then asked if Kathy might print a copy of my AAA card for me and her reply was " I can't do it. I'm closing my desk down" I threw my hands in the air and left disgusted. Such a rude lazy person. Time for her to retire! read more

I went to obtain D.M.V. services on March 16th, 2021 purchasing a new vehicle. The lady inverted my address numbers and lucky for me my mailperson caught the error when the pink slip came and placed it in my box, with the incorrect address. Lucky for that one, so I went in April 7 to get the address corrected. The lady told me that theirs is a charge of $23 to change the address. I replied, "we are not going to change the address, we are going to correct the address". She reiterated the same reply when I interjected again, "we are not going to change the address, my address is the same, you are going to CORRECT the address you mistakenly put into the computer". I then told her, "I'll give you a moment to get your purse". That must have set off a 911 alert in this office because I was then surrounded by employees who backed her up word for word. It was a stalemate cuz this lady didn't understand the difference between "change" and "correct". Just at the height of the now uneasy situation an older guy said, "come with me, I can help you". Wow! OK.... so ....come to find out all 3 who escalated to what became a situation were wrong, there is, in fact, a "correction form" for $0.00 . The D.M.V. help counter became somewhat "greasy" as I was about the 7-8th person being helped with no one wiping the counter off in between members. Out of 9-10 people in line all but 1 needed D.M.V. services. When all paperwork was completed I headed to the bathroom only to be stopped to be informed that the bathrooms are closed. What the fudge do you mean pointing out the greasy counter the next guest was at...business is open, but you can't do ya' personal business. They directed me to Safeway! What a humiliating visit.... read more

Great agency unless you actually have a claim. I'm a client and another of their clients crashed their car into my garage. They refuse to pay enough to cover either of the estimates I got for the repairs. Very disappointed. Thanks for nothing AAA. read more

Not happy with AAA and the claims Dept for messing up on what was owed to the body shop. We paid Buck body shop, what the adjuster said we owe on the phone on October 19th about 7 am when Buck body called in to verified what our deductible was owe and about a month in half they (Buck)!called and said that AAA shorted their check by $150 and we owe the balance! I called AAA and finally spoke with Adam Weyer a supervisor- who claims that there is no such record on any call- but all calls are monitored right? I have been AAA since I have been driving and this happens! I got the spill that the Dept of insurance watch's everything that we do, great then do the right thing and right your mistake without punishing me! read more

Registration on my truck done in one stop. Put sticker on in the parking lot. Way easier then dealing with DMV while staff is home "teleworking". Very Virus concerned felt safe read more

Nice folks, always helpful with maps, advise, registartion, travel & insurance. Now open on Saturdays. I'm happy to be a AAA Member.

The customer service within this branch is a joke. They were rude and made me feel like they didn't even care about having my business. Then they go and cancel my homeowners insurance after over 10 years of being insured through them. AAA is a immoral company and I can only hope that I'm not the only one dropping them from all my insurance needs. read more
