RUDE. DISRESPECTFUL. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I called for a straightforward estimate and immediately regretted it. The person on the phone was rude from the start, constantly talking over me while I was trying to provide basic details. When I attempted to clarify something, I was cut off and told, "I'm still talking." That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this company treats potential customers. I'm not expecting high-end service from a small rental company, but basic professionalism and common courtesy are not optional. Interrupting a customer, dismissing questions, and acting irritated during a simple inquiry is unacceptable. If this is how they treat someone trying to give them business, I can only imagine how they treat customers once they have your money. To make matters worse, the pricing was absurdly high for what amounts to a very small rental. There was nothing about the product, service, or attitude that justified the cost. Between the inflated pricing and the outright disrespect, this company has given me every reason to take my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of other rental companies that offer fair pricing and know how to speak to people without the attitude. read more

Do not use this business. I paid $1,234 for party rental for Sep 6, 2025 engagement party for our son, of tables, chairs, special place settings, dishes with silver ware and tablecloths for 60 people. Problems: (1) delivered both dirty and discolored chairs (not white as they show in their showroom) and damaged chairs all banged up, (2) delivered dirty tables, all table tops, legs and bases had to be cleaned and wiped off due to layer of dirt, (3) delivered regular dishes, not designer up charged. (4) Over 1/3 of the 60" and 48" table feet were missing plastic protectors, so I had to go out and buy felt and attached myself so as not to damage our wood floors. (I forgot to take photos of table bases). Note: when they delivered the dirty tables & chairs, I gave delivery men towels and spray to clean them up- they did for 10 minutes & left -- so my son & his fiancee & my husband and I spent 2 hours cleaning every single table and chair. AAA came back with a few "replacement" chairs but they were in the exact same discolored and banged up condition. This situation was very, very stressful! I called 2 days later, Monday, and was promised a refund of $250 by check. I said OK b/c I was exhausted from hosting the event, but really I should have been offered at least 25% refund. I also sent a letter with photos & made follow up phone calls. Well, no check ever arrived. Shame, shame, shame on Manny, Leo and all of the employees for bait and switch of their rentals. Gatherings whether big or small are meant to build memories and create new experiences! If you looking for a rental company DO NOT USE them!! Not only will there equipment not work but they will harass you over the phone when trying to get a refund for equipment that does not work! They will basically tell you that you do not know how to use it and then they will turn it around on you and pin you to be the bad guy! If you own a restaurant in Southern California you're probably pivoting all over the place to keep your business open. We have 2 fine dining locations in Los Angeles County that we're reduced to takeout the day before thanksgiving day (our busiest day of the year) due to COVID 19 health department restrictions. In the meantime, our locations in Orange County were reduced to outdoor seating and take out. Talk about a double whammy! Professional. Fast. Great quality. Clean tents, chairs and tables. I have worked with many companies, but by far this was the most professional, quick and reliable one. They were quick to respond when I needed to change the order. They were quick to set up and pick up. Only hard workers here. We love that they followed the diagram and details of how many chairs and tables went to all 156 tents. Highly recommend them to everyone. They even came with water barrels to hold everything down. The generator we rented wasn't working at first, but they were so responsive to come and fix it within 15 minutes. Excellent service and prices. Thank you so much! read more

Had to plan a party in a short amount of time and they had everything I needed for the party. Came through in a clutch. They delivered and picked up at the date and time we agreed on. The party was at our home so there was no time constraints. They dropped off the day before the party and they picked up two days after the party. I'm reading some of the nightmare scenarios in the other reviews and I don't doubt that it happened. I just happened to have some flexibility in my schedule. So my observation is this: If you're not in a time crunch and you have space to temporarily store the party stuff for several days, AAA Rents will work great for you. read more

Manny helped me select and deliver a beautiful gazebo and living room furniture set for my husband's 60th. Unfortunately, the wrong size gazebo was delivered and the furniture didn't seat as many people as I'd been informed but Manny was easy to work with and we resolved the issues. If I could give 0 stars I would. We just got married - 2 weeks ago. Delivery of goods was fine - even though they got some stuff wrong - no big deal. Day after wedding - we have a brunch at the venue and wait for pickup. No one show. Our venue required us to be off premises by noon - no later than 1pm without paying for extra time (oh ya and they had Pottery Barn renting the space after us for a shoot so our stuff literally needed to get off the premises). At 12 no one showed up. We had to rent a moving truck and load ALL OF THE RENTAL STUFF into a box truck (200 chairs, 20 tables, silverware, glasses, plates, etc.) into a truck. It took what usually takes them about 30 minutes - wait for it -3 HOURS TO LOAD. We are not professional movers, and we had just finished celebrating the best day of our lives. We had 20 people helping us from young kids to our grandmothers (70+) carrying chairs to help us get off the property ASAP. When we FINALLY got a call back from them around 2pm - they told us they were picking up Monday - even though we had told them we had to be off the property by Sunday at 12. No apologies - just telling us if we wanted to drop off the merchandise that they are at the store now. Ok great - told Carlos we'd be there in an hour (since we were in Hollywood and they are in Van Nuys. We arrived to an empty lot. Gate shut and no one there. Called him and he said, "Oh I guess they left." NO JOKE. Not only did we have a truck full of stuff, we had family to entertain for the rest of the day while trying to figure out what to do with all of THEIR rental stuff that we were now responsible for. Finally we were told they would get it all at 6:30am the next day since my husband needed to work at 7am and that was the earliest they could do it. At 6:40 my now husband went over with the truck and they told him they don't start work until 7am. He was livid and told them if they don't get the stuff out he was going to pull it out and drop it in their lot. They finally acquiesced and unloaded (literally took them 20 minutes - since they are the pros). After that we sent them a bill for the rental truck, the 2 extra hours we were charged at our venue, and a bill for the 20 people we had that loaded the truck. THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY NO - AND GIVE US A BILL FOR A FEW GLASSES/DISHES THAT WERE MISSING. How dare they try to charge us when we saved their asses from getting a HUGE bill from our venue for having to cancel a huge client like Pottery Barn if we didn't get their stuff off the property. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AS WELL. IF NO REMEDY WE WILL FILE A SUIT IN LOS ANGELES AND SUE THESE GUYS FOR RUINING OUR WEDDING SUNDAY. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would give no stars if possible. I went to pick up a table we needed. The man at the desk, Manny, printed out what I believed to be the invoice and asked me to sign for the amount charged on the credit card. He then said someone would meet me outside by the door to give me the table. It was terribly windy so I waited in my truck for someone to come bring me the table. After almost 20 minutes, Manny came out and said " you're still waiting?!" Then he went back and got the table. He helped me load it into my truck and I told him to wait bc I wanted to put down my tailgate and use my bed extenders so it wasn't sticking out. I asked him to hold the table up, as I started to extend one side. Impatiently, he yanked the other side of my extender, and I asked him to stop and let me do it, but he continued to pull - which is not how you operate it. He LITERALLY yanked the bed extender out of the truck bed wall. You can see in the pictures that the metal has been pulled by excessive force (assuming they don't remove them from this post). He said "it was like that already," which it most certainly was not. I'm now completely upset, frustrated and now need to drop off the table somewhere else before my next appt. I called the company and asked go speak to a manager. Someone named Carlos asked me to email pictures. I sent them pictures to the email given, & it bounced back. I called again the next day and Manny answered. He gave me a second email, which I forwarded it to. Over a week went by and I heard nothing. I sent a third email stating that I will have my lawyer get involved if necessary, still no response. When I called them yesterday, they stated that they can't take responsibility due to the contract I signed - which was printed on the backside of the "invoice" and was never pointed out to me... also, the manager stated that they tried to submit it but that it was "obviously not their fault." Basically, this company has terrible service. Also, for the record, they rented us a broken table which we ended up returning to them. The absolute worst company. Do not use them. I will now be paying around $400 for damages that they caused, and if should be covered if they are a reputable company with proper insurance. read more

We had a great experience working with Many and the crew to rent everything we needed for our wedding in Calabasas. We maybe had a week before our wedding, and Manny helped us constantly through in-person meetings and daily text updates until until he couldn't take anymore changes, which I think was 24 hours before the event. Understandably so, since they need to pack up the truck and keep track of inventory. The rentals were very nice and high quality. We had nice rustic wooden tables and chairs. Great glassware. And Many helped us sort out the just-right size CLEAR tent, which made the event so special. His crew came the day before to set up the tent in the pouring rain. Then came the day after to pick everything up. The price we paid, especially in comparison to other rental companies of similar size was very reasonable. I would rent from this company again. I have used AAA rentals several times and have always been ok with their services. Not this time. While moving their rental stuff our of our living room they tracked mud all over the living room and entry way carpet. When I called and spoke to the manager he said there was nothing he could do...that we invited them into our home and we should have told them to wipe their feet! Seriously, he said that. The ordering process went smoothly. Everything was delivered just as I ordered it (right size, make, model, etc.). Everything was picked up at the proper time. My order was relatively simple, but I had great customer service. I'm not sure how there can be any shadiness in terms of cost. You are given a contract after your order is placed with the exact number of items you rented, the cost, and the time of delivery and pickup. Pretty basic. Couldn't ask for much more. read more

Great communications with Jeff! He was super helpful and patiently adjusted my order several times. I was thinking about renting lights and he even offered to do a site visit to help me out! I order 10 tables and 125 chairs. They were all in good condition, arrived on time and the team setting it up (Daniel I think?) did a great job and were happy to accommodate me as I worked out placement of the tables. I did a lot of research on prices and AAA Rents and Events was one of the most affordable ones I found. There is only one thing I think that could have been improved; arranging delivery and pick up times. I wasn't given a window (8am-12pm) until the day before drop off. I was crazy busy 2 days before my wedding and this made it really difficult to have to wait around at home for 4 hours. Plus I couldn't tell my florist when to deliver until I heard from them. If that could be improved that would be great! I still give AAA Rentals, Jeff, Carlos, Daniel 5 stars though! They did a fantastic job and ultimately delivered a good product and service on time! Pretty disappointing. We have a company holiday party coming up next week. We needed tents to cover an outdoor casino night. The representative said someone would call me to set up a visit to gauge what we would need for the party. We set a date for the visitation to happen a few days later. The day came, and no one showed up. No call either. I just received a call a week after the original appointment, and the representative says, "I was just looking through my books and I was wondering if anyone had ever gone out to see you." I recognized the voice. It was the same guy that said, "Hey, I'll be out there to see you in a few days!" He asked me if I would be interested in having him come out now. I said no. He asked me if the party were cancelled. I said no. I let him know we were forced to go with someone else. He sounded like I had done something wrong. Oh well. I have rented here for over 10 years, This week I called an order in for delivery today, it never showed. Called the company looking for my it, they had no record of my order. I told them I had record of my cell call when I placed the order, and they didn't want to hear it. I don't leave reviews on here at all, but when you're planning a surprise party for your mother and the rental company screws you over i think it's justified. Shouldn't even be giving a star. My sister and I both have had to call for confirmations, after the order was placed. Supposedly they called but didn't leave a message and cancelled the order. My Sister called to reinstate the order got cut off with low cell service so they cancelled the order again, i reinstated a few days ago and then today the day of the party, I call to make sure delivery is set and they tell me that they don't have enough tables. We went to the showroom, everything was fine. The guy was helpful. The problem started at delivery. They gave us a window of 2-3, and showed up at 1:30. Whoops, my roommate wasn't home yet. Then the chairs were all sorts of scuffed up and ugly... which is just wonderful for our wedding right? Blah. Then I used the drink dispenser and found black floaties in my drink. YELCH!! Then for pick up I had my grandparents waiting... and they were late. Overall... not super impressed. At least they got our order right and the price was ok..... will probably look for another vendor in the future. read more

I am getting married and needed rentals for the wedding site and happily stumbled across AAA Rents and Events. I was a nervous bride about all the details and it felt really good to have a vendor that I felt confident to take care of that very important detail. I've seriously have had an amazing experience with them. Carlos provided excellent service...he even came out to the site and measured certain areas prior to at no additional charge. I had many many questions and changes throughout the whole process and he has been extremely helpful along the way. I agree that this place needs a little more structuring, organization and communication. I used them because my company has used them before and they're cheap. There was a lot of mis-communication and shadiness about costs. I had a particularly crazy situation with lots of extensions and random cost quotes, BUT what made up for it was the service I got from Debbie. Debbie made sure to keep me happy and save my organization money, even if it meant I was getting the tables for a lot cheaper than the rate. I definitely had to talk to two different people (each promising to call me back yet completely failing to) before getting her, but at the end it saved us money, so I can't be too upset. read more
