Frustrated, I contacted a pump company who immediately directed me to Chris and Superior Well Service. I called and explained the whole situation , he said he would be passing my house on the way to another service call and he would take a look. He was knowledgeable about my settling system for the well, brought his tools in and replaced the control panel and made all necessary inspections in a short 20 minutes!! I thought my water softener was broken so I called Culligan to come out to my house and take a look…read moreat my unit. Culligan charged me to come out to my house and after taking a brief look at my softener told me I needed to buy a new one. They quoted me $1500 for a new softener and charged me $150 for the service call. I then called Angel Water in Barrington, they too told me I needed a new softener and quoted me $1300. I finally called Huemann Water. A service tech came out to my house, took a look at my softener, and for less than $100 in parts fixed my softener and brought it back to life! The team over at Huemann Water are a genuine group of professionals who know their trade well. They don't try to sell you new and expensive equipment if you don't need it, rather they present you with all the options you have available and let you make the choice. The owner Joe Huemann has even personally come out to my house to calibrate my water softener when I thought it wasn't working right. Overall, you won't find a better group of pros, that go far beyond what you could ever expect, to deliver excellent service at excellent prices.

Called them out because my well pump was slowly kicking on and off. I also wanted to replace the…read morewell pump because it was old and I wanted it replaced before it failed. Two guys came out, never pinpointed the leak, checked out the well and told me the equipment they needed to remove the old well pump was all busted and they didn't know when it would be fixed. They told me their boss would call me the next week. then they jumped in the truck and were quickly hauling out of there. Never heard from their boss. I guess finding the leak and installing a new well pump was a bridge too far for them.
