Located where the old Blockbuster building use to be, I am here to get my real ID today. Yesterday I wish I had brought in what I needed have to have to get it because there is a bit of a line a head of me here today (staff coming back from lunch? 1 hour wait but seems to be moving along now that someone is attending to the people waiting to get a license) The lady who checked me in was very sweet and seemed to enjoy her job very much, she is also the person who informed me the day before what I needed. None the less being that this is a new location it is very clean with comfortable couches and chairs. The mens room has a unique sink where it has the soap dispenser, faucet, and hand dryer all in one. There is a classroom as you walk in to the right where you can see all the next batch of young drivers learning the rules of the road, whether they follow them is another story I am sure I will be checking in here down the road when I plan a trip down south. Looking forward to avoiding the dmv lines going forward too. If you find yourself having to wait go to Pizza Palace right next door and order some grub. Cash only, but the food is delicious!!! Don't rely on AAA for help on a cold night on a deserted road. I was traveling on Rte 49 at 11:30pm on a snowy night when my tire went flat. I called AAA and was sent two text message, thanking me for my patience and assured that help was on the way. At 2:00am, when I called them back, they told me no one was coming. How long were they going to wait to call me? Thank goodness for the Spencer Police Dept. who saved me! AAA was worthless! read more

Wow. Where to start. Do not send your kid here for driving school. These people don't know the first thing about driving or what the rules of the road are. AAA thinks there is a lane called the "fast lane". Um, nope. Slang yes, actual lane called fast lane? No. Next - conflicting direction from their sorry excuses of "instructors". They told my daughter two completely different things when backing up. Luggage is overpriced. I get better stuff on Amazon cheaper. The only thing AAA is useful for is international licenses which you need to explain to them that they are supposed to offer them here. Our car got VERY stuck in a steep snowy ditch. A really great technician and his LARGE truck showed up after dark and got the car out under very challenging circumstances. I have 4 children- my older 2 did there training at a driving school in East Longmeadow - a disaster from the beginning- both times! My last 2 (twins) just finished there schooling at AAA. Done with aaa. Waited in a dark parking lot 2 and 1/2 hours for an emergency road service driver to come. This is unprofessional and potentially dangerous service. "Emergency road service" has turned into "when we get around to it" service. Not the first time- similar experience last year. Cancelled my long time membership. read more

I have been a member for a few years and went into the office to register a vehicle at 3:45 p.m. on a day that they are open until 5:00 p.m.. They turned me away at the door 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing. Absolutely unsatisfactory treatment of their members!!! read more

I visited here with my husband on a Thursday to renew his license. The wait was very brief with only one person ahead of him. He waited about 15 minutes for his turn. The process itself was very quick. The person handling his renewal was very professional and friendly. We were in and out in less than half and hour. That is an enormous improvement over the 1 and 1/2 hours we spent at the RMV about two months ago when we needed to get a new license plate. We had almost two dozen people in line ahead of us there. read more

It's pretty good to find a place that has people that are not only educated in there position, helpful and also POLITE! The Registry of Motor Vehicles could learn a lot from those people, there calm attitude is amazing even with the constant influx of people. It seams everyone was getting the Ma. Pike E-Z Pass along with the regular business they kept there cool and were so polite you couldn't help but make note of it. I wish more people and business's had folks like that today. The best part of it was realizing the politeness was not a put-on it was genuine. It's reassuring to know that in today's road rage world there are still people like them around. They are the best. Here is the story. Our car crashed on a sharp stone, then our rear tire totally explored. After we called AAA, they send a tow truck just in 20 mins. Also they tried to find a tire place for us. The amazing thing is that the tow truck towed our car back home with knowing the tire place has no our tire type. I have to say they have the best service in the world. I definitely recommend them to everybody I know. read more

Scott came to us with bottles of water, and one for my dog. We were stuck in extreme heat in a parking lot. He even followed me home in his truck to make sure that we did not get stuck again. All so we wouldn't need a tow truck. He was also very kind and honest. read more

I have been a member of AAA for many years, 30+ and they have been extremely helpful when my car has broken down, when my battery died, when I locked myself out, etc. and certainly worth every penny! The operators of the rescue vehicles are just so kind and helpful too. They have given me advice on what to do next. This summer a AAA vehicle helped a friend of mine who had come to visit me. She had a nail in her tire, the driver kindly refilled my friends tire and then told her the nearest location she could get the hole repaired...we were both so happy and the entire process, including fixing the tire, took less than 2 hours. Just recently I visited the AAA on Wilbraham Road in Springfield and as a member I was able to obtain Krona at no extra cost for my upcoming trip to Iceland! The lovely women working there were so helpful, even helping me with an electric outlet converter, which I also needed for my trip. Thank you AAA and all your wonderful employees! read more

Had a horrible experience with them. They gave the wrong information. And didn't even come to get the car. We had to wait over 3 hours. Costumer service was not helpful, until we talked to a supervisor. He was the first helpful person we talked to on the phone from AAA. read more
