He gave me a verbal estimate on the spot, and offered to do the job the next day. I chose to have the job done with a squeegee as my 23 yo, 250 ft driveway was experiencing some surface cracking. I had a pleasant with him for most of the time while he did the job and got to know him a bit. A good Christian man. I would highly recommend him to you. I received a HOA letter, need to seal my driveway. I sent out a request for quote from Yelp! for an oil based sealant. Next day Matt from AAA Paving & Sealcoating showed up at my front door. He sealed my driveway right after we agreed on price. AAA Paving also is the one who repaired my driveway over 4 years ago. Back then, Matt's brother Nick was my point of contact. The sealing was fine, nothing different from others that I have had seal the driveway, however prior to sealing I specifically asked about several large cracks in the driveway and was guaranteed they would fill and stay sealed, in fact I was told the seal would be good for several years. About 3 weeks after the driveway was sealed the cracks were exposed. I called the company and spoke with the owner who advised someone would come out to take a look. No one ever came to take a look or called me back. I called again and spoke with the woman that answered the phone who was very rude, after we discussed the issues several times she advised her husband would call me - he never called back. So after paying the most I have ever paid for sealing my driveway the cracks that were guaranteed to be filled are exposed to water and freezing and no one has ever called me back or come out to evaluate the problem. On 4/11/16 I had them repave my driveway. I paid slightly more than I thought was market, but they were MHIC and had some good reviews, so I felt good about it. 3-4 months later, I noticed a lot of flaking. In 6 months there were bare spots and it was obvious that they didn't apply the amount of asphalt that they represented. I hate leaving negative reviews, and usually give the company a chance to respond. But for $2,000, this company did a below average job, and when I pointed out the problem by phone, they ignored me. I wrote and called, but ultimately, I hired another company to fix the problem which resulted from their failure to apply as much asphalt as they specified. read more

Matt was very quick to respond to my inquiry and offered a deal that beat the rest. Upon inspection, however, it was a bit more pricey than initially quoted which set it on party with the low end of other offers. They did agree to some last minute requests to pave up to the house and in toward the front porch. The next day they knocked it out while I was at work. An issue arose and something had to get corrected, they took care if it on the same day with an additional waste removal fee. I cannot give any word on longevity and how it holds up yet, but based in my interactions so far I'm confident Triple A will come through on their guarantee as advertised. After Matt sealed our driveway, lots of lines appeared. Now it is 5 days after, June 10 2019, and the deep lines are getting longer, deeper. My neighbor recommended Matt. And so, I followed his recommendation. But, Matt refuses to come and even see the lines on the driveway ! I texted him saying, perhaps he could seal the deep ones with a sealant. We worked with Nick to replace our existing cracked driveway with a new asphalt driveway. Mortar in our brick walkway and cement blocks in our outer stairwell leading to the basement were replaced. The stairwell was power washed and repainted, as well. Nick made sure the work was top quality before we did the final walkthrough. We originally requested a quote because out of all the companies around the area they were the one that had a few good reviews. We decided to get a quote which he told me he would come one day but didn't show up. Decided to still give him the chance to give me a quote. The price was fair compare to others. I asked Matt to send me a formal estimate by email which i never received, bad decision to go ahead and get the work done without a contract in hand because once they finished he told me that the sealcoating was an extra charge which he never said anything about that being extra. To make this story short, i am not happy with the work i called him and spoke to him about my concerns and he simply said he wasn't coming back to fix what i didn't like. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO USE THIS COMPANY. I feel bad for his worker's because they are very friendly and would of liked to work with them in the future too bad their boss Matt is so damn RUDE. Triple A is a Triple F. Workmanship and quality was so poor that the whole driveway now needs to be ripped out and redone. The segregation of the asphalt mix and improper compaction resulted in uneven grading and will eventually result in surface water infiltrating into the asphalt. Surface finish is uneven and rough. Asphalt surface was not leveled properly. There were significant depressed and lumpy areas around the water and sewer valves. Very disappointing. read more

We negotiated terms quick and easy, I needed the job done as quickly as possible, he wanted my business. We met at what I feel was a reasonable price for a large and pretty beat-up driveway. He seemed to really want to put on 2" of asphalt on and priced it that way. More is better so he made it hard to say no. So the day they were supposed to come pave the driveway, I show up and am in disbelief as to the legitimacy of this company. I said REAL DEAL. Trucks, rollers, heavy machinery all up and down my block. This is not some 2-bit slap on some goopy sealant, spread it on and be on your way-type company. Ok, so I wasn't going to write a review, but because Matt called me a complainer, I might as well complain here. Here is my review. Bought this house about 2 years ago and because of the amount of rainfall this year, the driveway started to develop some cracks, so it was time to fix and reseal. Called these guys because I'm busy at work and did not have the time to do it myself and they seemed to have a fair amount of good reviews. Got quoted $350 to repair the cracks and reseal the driveway, which I thought was a bit high, but they responded pretty quickly, so I decided to just get it done. They came and went faster than the eye can see. Before I knew it, they were SPRAYING down the sealer and were done and curing. Asked them if I could pay with my credit card and Matt said I could through paypal. Matt forward a payment request from his personal account and I went ahead and paid. An hour later I receive a call from Matt saying I didn't pay the full amount. Obviously paypal charges a fee if payment is made with credit card but he acted as if this never happened to him. I've been using paypal for nearly a decade and this has always been the case, so it's pretty shameful for him to expect me to cover the fees he incurred. He then just asked me to write a review here and we would be square. So I agreed, but I would only write a review once I reviewed the work. Fast forward 2 days, I stepped onto my driveway to check out, what I thought was great work and noticed some part of the driveway where the water would drain, started to flake from the debris that must have been embedded into the asphalt. Then I walked over to throw some recyclables away, only to notice roofing sealer in the bin. They used two cheap $4 tubes of roof sealer to seal the cracks. I blamed myself for jumping the gun and letting these guys do the work and ask Matt if he would still like me to write a review even if I wasn't going to leave a raving review (Wanted to give him a chance). Matt asked what was wrong and I pointed out the roofing chalk and the flaking. He says he used roofing chalk because it's oil based and blends with their oil sealer (why not just use a oil based crack filler? Too expensive?). Then he said he thought the driveway was completely power washed, but it was pretty obvious it wasn't. There was no attempt to help relieve the problem, only a comeback text saying this, "I can be a complainer to can you send me the remaining balance". Well there you have it folks! I thought Matt would do a good job but unfortunately he did not. He had told us to keep the driveway blocked for 3 days and we did for 5. Even after that I saw that the tiremarks were there and the seal did not work well. I called him and he did not seem too interested in acknowledging that there there is a problem.Matt came today(07/16/2020) and did another coat of seal. Let us hope it works out this time. Keep telling me his crew is around and wanted to do it the same day he's out surveying. (Despite possibility of rain within 24 hours)Ended up giving in and let them took the job. My other 2 quotes came back after and turned out they were 25% less, so Triple AAA seemed overpriced. This is the worst paving company I've ever used. I called for an estimate the owner told me he was extremely busy and said the grandfather would have to come and give me an est.I said ok let your grandfather do the est. He came out and told me how important it was to seal my driveway to prevent further cracks etc. and gave me a song and dance. So I agreed for the grandfather and his brother to seal my driveway. They did a terrible job.They tried to seal some cracks on my driveway and did the worst job. I had to go outside while the grandfather was sealing the driveway without filling the cracks and told him he needs to stop sealing and get all the cracks filled properly filled first. He started arguing with me and told me they were all filled. I pointed all the large UNFILLED CRACKS, then he finally said sorry they missed it. If I did not go outside and check on their work it would have been 10 times worse!!! They left excessive AMOUNTS OF RUBBER SEAL, THE ENTIRE DRIVEWAY HAD SPRAY MARKS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT WAS NORMAL. I HAD TO CALLTHE OWNER WHEN HE CAME OUT HE TOLD ME. IT WAS JUST A WASTE OF MY $1500. I TRIED TO DRESS UP A PIG WITH LIPSTICK MY DRIVE WILL ONLY LOOK GOOD FOR A WHILE. I NEED TO GET IT REPAVED. I SAID TO HIM THAT'S NOT WHAT YOUR GRANDFATHER SAID, HE GAVE ME A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY. The owner tried to fix the mess THEY left but did a terrible job. He (THE OWNER) then said to me I don't seal driveways there's no money in it for for me. I ONLY paved driveways that's why I let my grandfather and brother do it. HE WAS VERY, RUDE, DEFENSIVE AND DEMANDED I PAY HIM I SAID WHEN THE WORK IS DONE PROPERLY I WILL PAY YOU. HE NEVER SENT AN INVOICE CLAIMS HE DOESN'T HAVE MY E/M. I don't know why one wasn't mailed.? He shows up at my door demanding I pay him I told him I don't have an invoice but I will pay him with a CC. he then said if you pay me with a CC. I have to charge you 3-5 % extra. I said I have been running my own business for 26 years and never told that to a customer or heard of any such ridiculous thing in my life. he said to me you don't tell me how to run my business. This is by far one of the worst, most unprofessional companies. I've ever encountered. My driveway is still a mess. They have no intentions of fixing their work even though I agreed to pay him. Had Triple A pave my driveway . The steam roller left horrible rust stains when paving was completed. Owner, Matt, told me that the only way to remove rust stains is for me to pay additional charge to seal coat newly paved driveway. He would not remove the rust stains without charging to seal coat new driveway. I did not feel that I should have to pay extra to get a nice looking driveway. Six months later my driveway still has awful looking rust stains. Be prepared to pay for extra seal coating when you pay for a new driveway paving job. Would never use them again. Beware. read more

Triple A did not want to complete striping work of our parking. They made errors on the lines of striping and refused to come an correct it.

My exterior waterline broke and WSSC determined that was my responsibility. Found a good plumber (also from Yelp), replaced the piece of crap plastic pipe with a copper one. Only left me with a driveway with a trench and torn up lawn. I thought I had to replace the driveway, until spoke with Nick from Triple-A Paving. Repair the driveway and put a new 2-3" layer was the suggestion. The quote came day after our initial meeting, the price was competitive so I called Nick back and asked when can he start (I was looking at the torn up lawn an driveway for over 2 weeks). He said, "Tomorrow" Fantastic, Nick and his team showed up at 9:30 AM, and the driveway was done by 2 PM. The driveway looks like a brand new one. Triple-A has all the machinery to do the job, including a street sweeper to clean up afterward. Nick and his team even cleaned up the concrete apron of the driveway. All 4 of them were courteous. Nick also explained the maintenance and how to take care of the driveway. I cannot be happier. Highly recommended! read more

Completed my 300 foot driveway in a day, did exactly what he said they'd do: 2.5" of asphalt, cut out around the garage, and walkways, creating a very even transition and cleaned up well in the street to keep the neighbors happy. I would not recommend using this business for any paving needs. The work they did on my driveway fell apart and starting crumbling just 2 months after it was laid. After months and months of phone calls and promises to make it right I still have an incomplete job. This business especially the owner makes promises that he will not keep. read more

I hired them in April 2017 to seal our and two neighbor's drives. They did ours last and it was starting to rain and end of day and they were hurrying. They did not get the pitch right nor did they leave the water pipe access exposed. They were to come back the next day and did not. We had a terrible rain storm and our garage flooded. I placed call after call to them concerning these two issues and they would not return my calls. By now it is end of summer, ridiculous and frustrating, and it will be needing to be sealed, but they have not owned up to the lousy work they did. Nor called me back. Unfortunately, I had to hire someone else to seal, but the drive is coming up now and I wonder if they even put down the prime coat for the bonding. They did stop by one day and uncovered the water pipe access while I was gone, but only after I sent them a letter, but not once have they called to apologize nor have they addressed the problem they created with the drive. The other two drives are fine, so I know they botched ours. I have had another company and two contractors look at the drive and they all agreed that it was not done properly.
