It was installed twelve years ago, so a newer model was probably needed, but I had no idea what that should be. I didn't know how adjust it to get the degrees of arc I required. Sure, I did a hitch in the USN. But though the Navy said they'd teach me everything I'd ever need to know, they never mention sprinkler heads in boot camp and "A" school. Fortunately the Lautner Lady found the product I needed, and patiently explained how to get it to do what was needed. I just installed and tested it; it works fine. My wife no longer thinks I'm completely useless.

However......in early 2017, we noticed an issue with our septic system. Our septic installer came out and did some initial investigation and felt that he may have to do some extensive digging to fix it. We decided to wait until fall 2017 to do the work. Unfortunately winter came fast and early and they didn't get to it. So today, May 2018, our septic installer began further investigating and it turns out that Peaceful Valley tore up one of two feeder lines to the field with their trencher. Not a big problem, you would think. the other end needs to be found and then a 5' patch installed. A phone call with Bob, the president started with his immediate denial of any culpability, combined with aggressive language about it not being his problem. The call ended with the following quote from Bob "You have a million dollar home and you want to push a $500 problem onto the little guy, I'm walking away" and then he hung up. REALLY? All we were asking was for him to get involved in a three way mutual resolution. If this is how he reacts when pushed, you know he is just looking to gouge his "rich" customers anyway he can. AVOID THEM, THERE ARE BETTER PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH IN THIS WORLD.

My experience, however, was of being ignored anything until a long-time neighbor's customer requirements caused Wells to come by. There was also a continued failure to respond to my telephone messages when I had a sprinkler system. I detected a general disinterested in working for me. I suspect that this company has lucrative long-term accounts and does not really care about anyone new. My advice? Consider another provider if you are a new resident in Grand Traverse County.
