I foolishly let AAA replace an old battery in my car in 2022. The tech highlighted that it had a 3 yr warranty but never mentioned that I had to be an active member for the company to honor the warranty. Now when the battery is faulty they refused to honor their warranty and replace the faulty battery. The customer service agent said that even though the disclaimer was NO WHERE on their warranty paperwork, it was on their website. Like who looks up the website when they are dealing with a dead battery. I am not a lawyer but one would think that such a disclaimer should be on the warranty paperwork. I called Triple-A because I got flat tire and when i say DO NOT CALL TRIPLE A i mean do not call Triple A. First of all, they couldn't find my membership so I had to have my dad call them on his plan to help me. Then, I waited for three hours while they constantly called us and told us the ETA and then never showed up. This happened about four times. Like don't tell me someones on the way and give me the time when there is no one coming? Save people some time like hello. Planning a trip and wanted some personal suggestions and planning advice (after all, we pay for it and they are partially a travel agency) but basically, the staff in there wasn't helpful. Gave us some books and just advised us to look it up online. They really should be more helpful with clients, otherwise, they're useless and everyone will just go online. A lot of people might think that having AAA is only useful if you drive a junky car but that is not the case at all. If I need to buy theme park tickets for out of town guests or when it's time to renew my annual pass this is where I head. Florida residents already pay a cheaper price and AAA adds a discount on top of that. When you do it year after year it really starts to add up. Add that to a few hotel discounts a year and I really feel that I'm getting my money's worth out of my membership. For those crazy moments that life throws at you it's nice to be able to call for help. Getting my friends' truck towed from Orlando after it stranded us there really convinced me the membership was worth it. This office isn't as big as the Carrollwood office but it seems to have all the same services. My biggest complaint is their hours. They're just awful for anyone that works a regular schedule. If they would open for a few hours on Saturday it would be helpful to so many people. read more

Fairly good place. Stopped in to add someone to an account and book a couple rental cars for vacation. It was quick, although maybe because it was the lady seemed like she was in quite the rush as we arrived about 10 minutes after opening and not everything was done yet. I have been an AAA member since 1977, I think it is time to give up my membership. In less than a year, we have had to call AAA three times. The first time we ran out of gas on highway and AAA said they couldn't come because we couldn't give them a physical address. The highway number and mile marker was insufficient!!! We had to get a friend to rescue us. Next time in May of 2022, the ignition broke. Called at 2:00 am. Waited for 3 hours, then called them again after getting run around for 1 hour was told there were no tow trucks in the entire city of Tampa to tow our car 10 miles. We had to sleep in car till after 7:00am when a tow truck was available. Then yesterday the power steering let go, we called AAA just after noon we called for a tow 61 miles ( we have plus membership = 100 mile tow). After waiting till 4:00 we called again and again on phone one hour talking to numerous people at AAA we were told the car would be picked up by 6:00 pm. We were concerned that the car might be towed by town and then receive tow fees and storage all because AAA doesn't have tow trucks in the Tampa area. At 7:30 when the car hadn't arrived, we called AAA again. This time I was told they hadn't picked it up and when they did they would only tow it 25 miles!!!! We talked to many many people at AAA all day and we were never told of this mile restriction. I was told car would be picked up by 9:30 pm. We got a text at 12:15 am they had finally dropped the car off. The problem now was that they left it 1/4 mile away at the wrong house on their front lawn, not even in the drive way. Wifes car broke down so I swapped and waited for a tow truck. 1.5 hours later they send the wrong type of truck. 6 hours later still no show. AAA should be able to do better than this. Totally unnacceptable. read more

Terrible service tonight. We called in for a tow on St. Rd. 56 right by the I75 entrance at 9:30 pm. They didn't tell us the name of the servicing tow company or ask if we would like text updates as usual. In fact the man insisted my husband had no AAA membership and kept calling him mam. We were told an estimated arrival time of 10:31. At 10:45 we called back and were told the first representative was wrong after being put on a long hold and the new time would be 11:10. At 11:30 we call to ask where the truck is a and are on hold for 10 min. to find out the driver well call us in another 15 - 20 min. Why am I paying for this service? It took 3 hours for AAA to come. Terrible service. The irony is I several tow trucks go by while I wait. read more
