However, after recently moving to Summerville and recently keeping cars past their warranty, we were on the lookout for a local mechanic. We saw many positive reviews on Morrison and also on the phone they were extremely polite. Recently took the Volvo in for a brake line flush for preventative maintenance plus it was braking kinda funny, they took care of us and had us in and out around lunchtime. Clean shop, friendly folks, and prices were very reasonable. Taking the kid's BRZ in this week for some preventative maintenance and confident they'll take just as good care of us then as they did in the past. Overall, Kenny and Laura are great folks with a great attitude.

Both times my vehicle was quickly diagnosed and repaired in a timely manner which I truly appreciated. The owner is very approachable and helpful. Today my driver's window became stuck in a "down" position after I ordered my morning Latte and I could not get it to roll up. It was cold and drizzling outside, and I went to Morrison to ask for help. The owner, I think his name is Kenny came out and helped roll it up! He offered to get me a price quote on a new window switch and contact me in a couple of days with a quote. I am so thankful that Morris Nissan was able to help me and is available to assist with my vehicle needs.

My oil pan gasket leaks a ton of oil, and when I took it back to get it fixed, they blamed the leak on my oil pressure sending unit. When I got the car home, I cleaned all the oil off and the only leak was from the rear of the oil pan. The transmission work I had done they completely messed up. I had the bellhousing replaced, clutch fork replaced, and some other stuff. Recently, I noticed my clutch pedal feeling very heavy and my transmission started grinding when I shift. I pulled the transmission and found that Edwards hadn't put all the fluid that leaked out when they pulled the transmission. There was only 1.5 quarts, when there should be 3 quarts. And to top it all off, none of the bolts for my clutch where tight. Some were hand tight. Because of Edwards, my transmission is destroyed and I have had to replace it myself, and my clutch which was $1,000, is potentially destroyed. Do NOT take your car here

When I picked up my car, my emergency brake no longer worked -- technician failed to properly restore the vehicle to safe working condition. Owner then called me numerous times claiming I am being dishonest on my review and then, just today, threatened to sue me because I exposed the shop for faulty repairs. I will NEVER AGAIN allow Edwards Automotive to touch my vehicle for any reason. UPDATE: 11/22/2024 @ 4pm Independent repair shop found and fixed this problem caused by Edwards Automotive: "Emergency brake not attached to rear drum on driver's side." Facts matter.

They increased the charge of my diagnosis twice and didnt mention the increase until after the fact. I just wanted my vehicle out of there and during the check out process i was almost overcharged $150 after disputing it. It was a mistake on their part but those mistakes occured throughout my entire experience. They also have an AI bot who takes calls and its very frustrating. They are also extremely over priced. As soon as i got my vehicle back i called other shops and they were a 1/3 of the price cheaper than what was quoted. Please spend your time and money elsewhere.

We brought our car in on a Saturday for a specific noise during light acceleration and an overdue…read moreoil change. After diagnostics, we were told the noise was from the CV axles (and that brakes were also needed). We agreed to replace only the axles, quoted at $1,600+, and were told the car would be ready Monday or early Tuesday. From there, communication completely broke down. We received no proactive updates. Multiple calls were routed through an AI system with no callbacks. When I finally reached a person, I was told the staff member handling our car had been out sick and that parts were delayed due to a storm. Totally understandable -- but no one called us, despite us coordinating work, school, therapy appointments, and Uber with one car. We were then told the car would be ready Wednesday, but again received no call. On Wednesday, we were told one axle never arrived and repairs would be done Thursday -- again, no prior notification. When I picked the car up Thursday and paid $1,500, the exact same noise was still present within a quarter mile of driving. I immediately returned. After initially being told it was due to not replacing the brakes (it was not a braking noise), they test-drove the car and then said the real issue was a gunked-up timing chain/belt, which they "fixed" with another oil change and flush. The noise stopped. That raises a serious concern: why were $1,500 axle replacements done when the original issue was misdiagnosed and resolved with an oil change? Had this been correctly identified, we would have made very different decisions. Between the misdiagnosis, repeated missed timelines, lack of communication, and unnecessary expense, this experience was extremely frustrating and left us without confidence in the work performed.
