Only wish some tenants here would be more respectful in their use of the bathrooms. Sorry, Mommy isn't around to clean up after your mess. - Maintenance workers have had some turnover in 2022 but do a good job. Seems to be less maintenance post 2022. - Generally good looking boats, but some boats are ignored and here to die. Most boats never leave the Marina and by the looks of things, many of those couldn't do so under their own power. - Facilities are nice but getting dated. Building maintenance has suffered since 2020 and while nice(r) than average, could be better. Peeling paint and nasty odors in the main building bathrooms. - Gym room was redone in 2023 and is a first class result. Great job Staff! - We used to have mailbox service until 2020. - Significant multi-year rental increases. - Quiet and peaceful place. Proposed Ventura West Marina Phase I plans here. No Starbucks, but a Coffee Bean here. Literally minutes from farmers market on Sundays, Toppers Pizza, Peninsula Park for another nice stroll or picnic area next to Hampton Inn, a wide open, free parking and zero crowd Hollywood Beach. Don't think you can find a single soul that doesn't like this area. Great to walk through the streets of the community homes and get severely depressed; borderline suicidal you didn't buy these a decade ago for a quarter of the price.

This is a great place to take a walk along the water. You can only cross over the water using the…read morepedestrian bridge. You can walk south down the pathway and follow it back up towards the Channel Islands Harbor but you can't cross over. You would have to back track from which you came. It's a good 45-60 minute walk if you start over by the Coffee Bean and head down to the Harbor Island Lane then up along the private property on the water and then back. There are lots of restaurants and business along the marina that has great views and lots of benches along the walking path. There are public park restrooms near the playground. I have come here on my breaks to take in some fresh air and beautiful marina views. I highly recommend walking the pathway.

Not to mention he doesn't know the different between where the propane storage compartment is located vs where the propane locker is... He didn't see the the two signaling devices in the port locker in the cockpit because he decided to not turn his flashlight on... the list goes on... All I'm saying is it's pretty bad when the buyer's broker is saying "this is the worst survey I've seen in my 30 years of working in this industry." To be completely honest, you would be better off paying someone to drive down from San Diego than to waste your time with someone so uneducated in the field they specialize in. Props to him for completely ruining a sale for my parents, because of his lack of knowledge. Rant over.

He surveyed our sailboat and was very inaccurate in the survey. He missed key items such as saying…read morethe solar which was not hooked up was essential which it is not. He also said the propane in the port lazaret was not properly vented but that was our spare propane bottle. The propane hooked up on the starboard side is properly vented. He also didn't see the horn in the companionway and dinged us on that. Overall I think would advise waiting for an honest capable surveyor instead of using Andy. He's pathetic.

Kyle, the sales person I was dealing with is fantastic. He has a great attitude, very knowledgeable and extremely responsive. Kyle got my trailer all taken care of on the business end and then turned me over to the service department to complete the work. Everyone in the service department is top notch. This has been the only boat repair service that I've ever left happy. All of the guys in the service department are very helpful and friendly, which I am not used to when dealing with boat people. They gave me a tour of their entire facility which is new, indoors and quite large. All of their repairs seem to happen in a large, clean and fully stocked Costco sized warehouse. They even have a fiberglass shop and paint booth. This place is fully stocked with Outboards, general boat gear and everything you could possibly need. It's extremely clean and well organized. Like anywhere else that's top notch, you might pay just a little more but it's definitely worth it. Worth it enough that I was inclined to write this review over a boat trailer. If you want a quality product with quality service to back it up, these guys are definitely who you want to go to. Also, they also included a complimentary torque wrench to keep the wheels properly torqued. They'll show you how to use it if you don't know how.

I had reservations through the process, but Rick is a stand up and honest guy. One of those real people you don't meet very often. Maybe a little rough around the edges but he will work diligently to help you find a way to resolve problems that arise. I mean if you ever owned and RV you know, if you are just getting into the game he can help. He has experience and knowledge and is willing to work through problems. It took some time, but he earned my trust and confidence. I'd go to Rick and Tri County RV anytime. It's great to have an owner operated business this dependable in Ventura and provides great value for the community. Longer Version: Rick and I had a bumpy road. Dealing with insurance, manufacturers, custom parts and a comic cascade of communication which went best in person, second best via direct email and off the rails a little with phone or disparate emails with third parties. However, Rick hung in there and while I sometimes may appear unreasonable, I'm not. I'm often just too curious for my own good. Yet in this situation because of Rick's tenacity and desire for customer satisfaction we got there. Rick came up with an unconventional way to provide the desired outcome, and I hope his shop is still around should I need any work on my RV in years to come.
