Brought my vehicle in for service was supposed to be done same day (Tuesday 8/29). It was brought to my attention that the vehicle also needed brakes, I requested they be replaced. They told me it would be ready the following day (Wednesday). I got a call stating that one of the mechanics had broken an ear clip? When replacing the brakes that they would replace it but it would be ready on Thursday at the latest. I had to call Thursday at almost closing to find out the part never came in. It was not until Saturday 4 days later that I got my vehicle back. That was 3 additional days of me not being able to do my job and make money. I voiced my frustration with Mike the manager and his solution was giving me $50 off? No offense to him or the company but $50 pails in comparison to the money lost from not being able to work. read more

Thank You!!! These folks went above and beyond to get my car fixed; I can't recommend them enough. I drive with hand controls so when my car is in the shop I'm stuck at home. My car (27 yrs. old) started hesitating when idling and when I gave it the gas it really hesitated, like it was going to cut off. I had to bring the car back a second time, they kept it overnight and spent the next day figuring it out, they did, the car drives like a dream again, no hesitation at lights or when I give it the gas. Wish I could give them a zero On 06/06/23 on went into the service center with a battery that I bought from roadside service I explained that my vehicle was at an automotive service center and they tested my system and said that the battery was faulty and was not recommended that I drive with said battery. The person at the counter said they could not check the battery without it being in the vehicle & I would need to bring my vehicle to them or have roadside come to the automotive center. I advised that that made no sense when he could see I bought the battery from AAA, they could scan the battery & test it without me having to bring my vehicle to them for a test that had already been run by the automotive center I got nowhere, so I call roadside service and after 2 hours of calling customer service - to see why I had not heard from the tech and being told my request was being worked on. So a total of 4 hours later - roadside service never showed up. The last customer service rep was rude and said that I would need to call the service center to see why they could not test the battery there and I need to do another roadside request as she could on tell me that they were still working on my request So here I am a customer waiting another day for your people to test the battery, as a customer this is unacceptable This is the second time this year that roadside was a no show, thank God I was not sitting in the road like last time Make this right - give me a refund (prorate) for my battery and cancel my AAA membership read more

I've had a trip booked since Dec 2019. it got canceled due to Covid. I had a lovely woman helping me and when she left, I was handed off to another travel agent who has been completely unresponsive, unhelpful, and I am now over 120 without my refund that was promised in 90 days from cancellation, then 5-7 business days when that didn't happen, and now im over 3 weeks from the new promised date. my bank has nothing and this guy is 100% unresponsive to emails and calls. totally ridiculous and unhelpful. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I've had three bad experiences with them. After they did my breaks in my Explorer a few years ago I kept going back telling them I could hear a strange noise, they finally took notice when the wheel actually broke of the bolts while I was driving. They had my vehicle a month after that fixing it and the body work damage. Secondly they lost my wheel lock... I was there for an oil change and tire rotation over Thanksgiving. I figured how could they possible mess up a service so I would give them one more try. Well they lost my wheel lock, when I asked what they were going to do about it the service lady basically told me I was on my own, it cost me $134 to go someplace else to have the wheel locks broke off and replaced. The new place I took it to showed me that one of the tires wasn't put on correctly when they did the tire rotation, could have been really bad if something happened there. Thirdly, AAA told me I needed a new alternator belt, I asked the shop I took my car to for the wheel locks and was told it was just normal wear and not in need of replacement. AAA Pisgah Church is a rip off and the service is terrible. Do not waste your time or money going there. read more

UPDATE - I want to give them a better rating based on a recent experience. They installed new tires on my car. Unfortunately, a day later one of the tires went flat. Though they could have certainly blamed it on the tire manufacturer, upon inspection they admitted that one of their installers had damaged the bead of the tire. Since they didn't have that brand of tire in their inventory, they located one at another shop in Greensboro, picked it up, and installed it. That's good customer service! I'd give this AAA car care center a higher rating, if it weren't for their constant attempt to "upsell." If you come in for an oil change, they invariably try to scare motorists about the ills of using anything other than synthetic oil (conventional oil has been used successfully in high mileage vehicles for decades!).Obviously, synthetic oil is considerably more expensive! If you want a tire change, they invariably suggest you get an alignment. Another unnecessary charge unless your car is not correctly aligned to begin with. More unnecessary expense! And, at the conclusion of any servicing, they always have some dire prediction of future problems with your vehicle, unless you consider one of their additional repair services. The work AAA does seems to be thorough. Their upselling is nothing short of annoying! I've never experienced this kind of selling pressure at any other repair shop I've visited in my life! read more

I brought in my Mini Cooper because the A/C did not work. They wanted $2,600 to repair it and said the whole system needed to be replaced. So I left it with them. That price seemed awfully high so I checked with the Mini dealer The Mini dealer estimate was $1,600 for essentially the same work, so I picked up the car from AAA, paid the diagnostic fee of about $90, and brought it to the dealer. Thereafter I would not trust AAA again for auto repair. It makes no sense that AAA would charge $1,000 more than the dealer. Use AAA for towing but find somewhere else to get your car repaired. read more

We had 3 cars serviced there for the last 2 years. Great service, but a bit pricey. Last week l had tires rotatated a lug not was missing. I had it in this week for an alignment and made a request to see if the lug nut was around and to check the lug tightness. When I picked the car up, still no lug nut! Had appointment here at 9:00am 10/18/17 for a $17.95 special oil change rotate tires. l. After sitting in waiting area for a few minutes, the person that I was dealing with came over and informed me that my service was going to cost a little bit more because my car took a little more oil. Now the$17.95 service would cost me $28.30. $10.35 over the special price offered is not a little bit. Matter of fact, this was a 52% increase. I made an appointment for 3 PM, Checked in, and went across the street to run a few errands. Return at 4:30, only to find that my truck had not been moved. I went in and asked how much longer, and was told that it would be going in at any minute. They just finished up a big job. Waited 15 more minutes,and the truck was still not in the bay. Asked for my he's back, and had a wait initial five minutes to get them. Completely unacceptable wait time. And now I am driving on metal to metal brakes which is very dangerous. We brought my girlfriend's car here for a routine service and oil change. Within a few days we began noticing a burning gas smell and the check engine light came on. We took it back and they said that they went through and checked their previous work and found no errors, and it would be $99 for a diagnostic to determine why the check engine light came on. SERIOUS BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM. I received a $50 off brakes coupon from AAA in my email so I clicked the coupon and set up an appointment to bring in my car to get the breaks replaced this past Saturday and requested a price quote before I did so. A gentleman called me back and said that he was with AAA and quoted me $219 to replace the brakes and said it could be $60-70 more if they ended up having to replace the rotors too and said it would take 3.5 hours to do the service so I agreed to drop my car off and get the brakes replaced. After I dropped off my car, AAA called my husband who had not gotten the price quote and told him that the rotors would have to be replaced and gave him a different price. When we went back over 5 hours later to pick up the car, it wasn't ready and the bill was $435. When I asked why it was so high and told them about the price quote, they said that noone from their location called me and gave me that price quote, and proceeded to tell me that the next time I needed to make sure I was speaking with someone at that actual location, and that the price I was given was only for parts and did not include labor and that my husband had approved the price. Then the guy proceeded to tell me that he was doing me a favor by getting the price of the rotors down to $180. When I told him that I was quoted $60-70 for the rotors, he said that was the price per rotor and didn't include labor. THIS WAS A SERIOUS BAIT AND SWITCH as I was seriously misled on the price. I would have taken my car to the Lexus dealership if they had been honest on the price of the service. I asked for a price quote in advance and was given $219 + $70 or $289 and ended up paying $435 because they didn't include labor in the quote. I will NEVER ever go there again. read more

I would suggest finding somewhere else to take your car. About a month ago my sister borrowed my car and while in greensboro took it to these folks because it was overheating. They diagnosed that it was low on coolant, filled it and gave it back. When I got it back not only had they left dirty shop towels and some other shop scrap in it, but it was also sputtering at idle. The problem progressed so I popped the hood today and found a large chunk of my air intake system gone-the part that sits on top of the radiator, the part that would be removed to do visual inspection of the radiator. It didn't stop there either, the mounts that fasten the airbox to the car are cracked all the way through so the rest of my intake system is just floating there. When I called today the guy that answered the phone was less than helpful let alone apologetic and furthermore I don't believe that he even listened to what I was saying as his last words were "thank you for calling AAA, have a nice day;" not the right thing to say. I expect more from the AAA brand- alot more. So now I can't wait to see much more this will cost as I had to drop it at an actual professional shop. read more
