I just sent this place a text inquiring about a rental because the website said call or text. The response I got to my text was "Give us a call then". What the fuck does the website say I can text for if I immediately have to call in? Instant red flag. Then I call and tell the girl that I wanted to know what the rental process is like, and that I was the one that just sent a text. She mumbled something under her breath like "oh lord" and then explained the process. I saw other reviews that mentioned a rude woman, and it must have been the same person. Y'all should really consider retraining her, or letting her go. I wanted to use this service, but I can't even get past your rude ass customer service people. read more

Looks like just another one star review for this place but they don't really seem to care. I arrived at 9am but the receptionist was 20 minutes late so I had to stand there waiting for her until 9:20. When I reserved the car online i was quoted an affordable price. But the price they offered me at the location was more than double the price I was quoted online. Needless to say, I did not accept their offer. Trying to rip people off and wasting their time in the process is a terrible business model. I would give no stars if I could. read more

This place is a joke! The car I rented was a compact that they over charged me for. Online it shows compacts for 39 and standards for 59. They charged me 79. The seats were stained and had burn holes in them. The Air only worked if the car is moving. The check engine light was on before I even got home. I literally had the car for less than 10 minutes when I noticed the check engine light. The car jerked like it was going to turn off. They tried to charge me to have a tow truck come and get it. They tried to make me take the car to get another one even though I told them I had high blood pressure and couldn't handle the 114 degree weather with basically no air in the car. I had to yell and threaten them to get them to bring me another car. They're "upgrading" to a stupid Mini Van but it won't be here till tomorrow. When I asked for the money back for the one day I will be without the car they said " I'll see what I can do" NEVER AGAIN! The website shows nice up to date and clean cars. read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars. I rented a vehicle from this place on June 25th. They rented me a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. I would not have rented here but my vehicle broke down on the way to drop my husband off at the airport and this was the closest place to where my SUV broke down at. They only had 2 cars available for me to rent so I chose that car. It had EXTREMELY soiled seats, they had about 4 of the little tree air fresheners throughout the car trying to cover up the odor. There were several places on the outside of the car that was damaged. This company is stating that I damaged the driver side door to where it does not completely close at the top. I took several photos of the damage on the outside of the vehicle before we left however when their representative (the manager) pulled the vehicle to the front for me to inspect for any damages the driver side door was left open when she got out of the car. Myself, my daughter, and the manager inspected the vehicle, there is no way that anyone of us could have seen the damage to the driver side door unless it was closed. Their manager did not mark it as damage on the sheet nor did I get photos of it. AGAIN you would only see this if the driver side door was closed. I did notice that the driver door did not close completely when I got home and exited the vehicle. They are stating that they are going to keep my deposit because of some new damage to this already damaged vehicle. So all together I paid $571 for a 3 day rental. That is $371 + $200(deposit they are keeping). By the way the paperwork I received, the math does not add up lol. I am sure they will say "oh we rent to people who normally cannot rent elsewhere" - I am not one of those people, I did not pay my deposit with cash or debit, I paid it with a credit card. I did pay the rental fees with cash app. I WILL BE FILING SUIT TO RECEIVE MY DEPOSIT PLUS ANY OTHER DAMAGES THAT MY ATTORNEY FIGURES IN. With all of that being said yes they were very accommodating when I needed to keep the vehicle for an extra day. Don't use this rental agency unless you like getting treated by rude and unprofessional employees. I called about renting a car for a vacation trip and started asking questions. The lady on the phone was very rude to me, wouldn't answer my questions. Instead, she yelled at me and literally hung up the phone. I don't understand how a business that is ran like this can even possibly be still in business. We rented a car from this establishment and had a wonderful experience we were able to get back out on the street driving within an hour and a half they were able to work with us on the deposit and no lie they will take cash,cash app and all other forms of payment you do not need a major credit card and also took out time to give us some reviews on their favorite restaurant one of them was called Lolos and every day we were there we ate at least once a day so I give A big shout out to AAA Auto Rental and Lolos Soul food read more

I agree that this rental car company it THE WORST CAR RENTAL IN THE NATION. This is how I was treated. My name is Janet on June 8th I rented a Hyundai for 4 days to go out of state. Originally to drive to California  but with a possible change to drive to Colorado for a funeral if it fell during the 4 days that I have the rental with the returning date of June 12th. I prepaid $781.08 for the 4 days of my rental and a $400.00 out of state deposit.  After mentioning to Steve about the possible change of travel. He stated if I do have a change in travel and want to receive a refund for my deposit for me to make sure I called to notify the rental company.  Which I failed to do cause I forgot. But no matter the reason I failed to comply, by doing so I do understand I forfeited my out of state deposit.  What is at question is the cost for the extra mileage I incurred.  Which was just under 600 miles. I was given 1100 included miles and any overages of miles will be $.50 per mile over. Miles at time of pick up was 96776 and at time of return mileage was just under 98476.  Minus the included 1100 miles left ruffly about 600 miles of unpaid for miles.  600miles at $.50 a mile = $300. I was charged $400.00 by Lina Smith for the extra 600 miles which is the incorrect cost charged. Not to mention the extra $400.00 charged to me was done on 6/11/21 a day before the return of the rental car. To which I was not provided a receipt for. Which I am also requesting along with a copy of my signed agreement an a copy of the rental car return information (milage, gas amount, return time date, amount charged and amount paid, deposit amount and deposit paid, and any other charges owed and paid at time of return. Also need a receipt for the extra $400.00 charged to my debit card ending in 4990 on June 11th 2021 and a refund of $100.00 for which I was over charged for mileage.   Thank you, Janet     my contact info is as follows  Still no response to my email. First of all these people moved their location to Arville by shimmer nails salon. Their cars are dangerous to drive and very dirty inside with stains and also many damages on the outside. Dents and all. Brakes are bad too! They charge over $100 a day and they refuse to give your deposit back the day they say they will. The guy that answers lies about the rates and the fat penguin from Batman girl Racina in the front will text you annoyingly trying to get you to rent the car longer for a high price! This place is the worst over priced bad car horrible customer service car rental place I ever been to rented a 2013 Hyundai Elantra for for 5 days with a $200 deposit that they are now trying to keep the car was beat up had lights on that wouldn't turn off stains on the seats that looked like the imaginable I turned the car the guy insured me everything was okay in my deposit will be refunded back to my card here it is a week in half later I called in the lady tells me that someone else was driving the car when I told her i was the only driver she called me a liar in said they charged me a $100 for a second driver that not on any paper in that I didn't not tell them to do that then she goes on to say they are taking the other $100 for damages they feel I put on the car that was already on the car in which they waiting until I called to tell me this once I told the lady I will be having my bank get the deposit back she then treated to file a claim with my insurance if i could I would give them 0 stars had to call the better business bureau las vegas On the in the dmv to get their cars looked at cause they should not be able to rent this cars like this read more

The website says $39 for a compact, but I was charged $821 for a week. Three times the listed price! The car wasn't safe to drive on the road so I kept my driving that week to only what was mandatory. When I returned it the guy did the inspection and told me that there were hardly any miles put on it, it was clean and that it had more gas than when I picked it up so I would get my $200 deposit back. So four days later when it hadn't been returned I called and they were honest that they'd forgotten and they did it that day....although I was told that the passenger vent was broken during my use and they only returned $150. Now they did return the $150, but the vent wasn't broken by me and upon return inspection I was told everything was fine and I'd get a full refund. Rented cars for the past 20 years this is the worst experience by far. My Car had to go to the shop so called this place because it was close by where I live. They were great over the phone but then I get there I get put into a dirty Mitsubishi galant for $69 a day that had not even been vacuumed out 114000 miles on it and missing a hud cap. I noticed but didn't say anything just dealt with it. I kept for a week and go back and they tell me that there is dog hair in the back. I pointed out that there is also cigarette ashes but I don't smoke. They said it had to be clean or they keep the 200 deposit. I should have lost my cool then but kept another day and paid another 69 so I can vacuum out the car. Then go back and they said front floor wasn't clean so would still keep my deposit. At that point I just said keep it I'll talk to credit card company. I did take pictures and got my money back from American Express. Don't rent here. read more
