Longer, more meandering version: I needed a car window replacement for a passenger side window on a new Grand Highlander (don't even get me started on the gravel flying on Hwy 50 these days!) and I knew I wanted to find a place in South Sac where it's fast to get in and high rent real estate isn't being built in to my repair costs. In a sea of fake reviews on the internet, including yelp, I saw the ever-active, ever-helpful Carol P.'s review of this place and reached out at night through the yelp app. Jimmy responded quickly (like later that night) with a quote and an offer to get me it the next day. He even followed up the next day with specific parking and location instructions that were super helpful. I was in and out in 45 minutes, just like they said I would be. The guys did perfect work and were professional and friendly. There is a basic waiting room, but really you should wander next door to Hi-Fashion Fabrics. That store is freakin' great, and you probably don't go there enough and explore it. It's not just fabric -- it's craft supplies, beautiful buttons for upcycling a vintage coat (which is what I ended up buying), feather boas for like $6 (which you probably need). So, while I hope I never have to go back, I know that if I do end up with cracked auto glass, I'll be back here for sure!

We didnt know we'd be looking at 3 higher grade options for tint. Who wouldnt want the top brand for heat resistant tint? Wish that was mentioned alongside the deal. We decided to go with the 2nd best tint offered, went through two inspections on the car, paid, & went home. A couple hours went by, we realized the phone number on the invoice was incorrect. Gave them a call to fix it and Sam tells us that the detailers want to charge for tint removal or else they cant work on my car. (There was only 3inches of old tint at the bottom of the back winshield). We expected some sort of compromise but nope, they wanted to charge 150 for the strip of old tint to be removed. (Other locations charged the same amount for all 7 windows with the old tint to remove) He then says otp that we Have to come to the shop to get it all sorted. We decided to get a REFUND because of the wasted trip, them continuously trying to get over on us, and not mentioning the extra charge for tint removal during the inspections.
