I am surprised at the bad reviews. I have used this company to fix my fridge and clothes washer - no problems with their work. We all have to understand that no matter what the brand - all our appliances are junk made in Asia. That said.. They have always shown up when they said they would. Their estimate has always been close. By close - if the repair is an onion (fix one thing and then find something else), you can't expect them to eat the cost. In the end, they clean up. I have been doing systems maintenance for three decades and here are three truths for home appliances: First, no matter what the label, there are only two or three companies in Asia that make every appliance you look at. Example: Kenmore is made by LG (Lucky-Goldstar) which is Korean. Second, it is all junk. My USA made GE fridge lasted 18 years without a repair. The only reason I replaced it was nobody had the parts anymore. Now, if I get five years from an appliance before a repair - that is good. Third, never let the repair service off the hook. Five minutes after they say they will be there - start calling. If the invoice is more than the quote - give them a hard time, make them explain it. If they don't clean up, call and tell them you will give them a bad review. Here is the new normal: 1) The appliances you purchase are junk 2) Almost EVERYBODY will take advantage of you if you let them. Never give a company that is doing work for you time to breath - stay on top. Inspect the work area before you sign off, pay them and let them leave. The only service guy that so impressed me that I would have paid up front was a Polish immigrant. In the end, he only asked for the cost of parts up front. I did not pay for labor until he could demonstrate he did the work correctly. Be still my heart - an honest man. 3) NEVER pay up front for all the work - if you pay up front - you have no leverage over them. If they insist on full payment before doing the work - throw them out - they are trouble. Yes, I know, it should not be this way, but welcome to the new normal. And no, Trump will not fix this. read more

Terrible! Wish i could leave 0 stars. Paid a $75.00 service fee. Already knew what the issue was with our Frigidaire washing machine. John said he needed to do more research to see how to fix the issue. He never called back. Never returned messages. Nobody cares about there reputation anymore. All for a $75 service fee. Run from this company. Horrible business practices. read more

December 12, 2017 Really really bad. Used AAA several years ago and they did an adequate job fixing the refrigerator so we called them again. Night and Day. the guy made an appointment and showed up in the window, acted hurried and indisposed because he had so many calls to finish before dark and it was already 4:00P ( Dec 12 ). Replaced the solenoid in the back of the frig, collected his $186.00 and left, total time 25 minutes. One problem, still wasn't working properly only crushed ice no cubes. Called them the next day and they were very apprehensive of returning to the scene of the crime so they talked me through how to re configure the ice maker. Good, done! Next day, no ice. Call the guy, explain the problem and he gets another call, shouts "call you right back" and hangs up on me. I call him back after a half hour, he answers the phone and agrees to return to the scene of the crime. Arrives in the window, quickly diagnoses the problem and informs me a new ice unit is required ...... $236.00. What choice do I have? Puts a new ice maker in but since it is a newer model the baffle on the top shelf covers the switch where you turn it on so now we have a new ice maker which can't be turned on. Quick fix! "Take your finger and squeeze up in this little opening and you can touch the switch". By this time party over ...... so long dude, here's a check, hope to never see you again. Arrogant and Obtuse. read more

I am so terribly disappointed with AAA Appliance and their lack of service on our Kenmore Elite (LG) refrigerator freezer. Mis-diagnosed as the cooling fan on 8/3/2020 asked for a deposit of $150.00 to order which i did. John Returned the following morning only to tell me it WAS not the fan but the compressor. I asked him if he could replace he said yes and would need to contact his supplier for the part. I was definitely in a bind as Sears could not come for 4 days so we were willing to pay John to install which he said he could. Left saying he would call me to let me know when he had the compressor for install. Hours went by I called him he said he had not heard from his supplier but would call and let me know. By now I am getting a pitting feeling in my stomach...Hours went by No call i am calling getting voice mails..finally reach Mark who tells me he will have John call me immediately. Around 4:30 John calls to tell me He will not be returning to install the compressor!!! They cashed my check and I have asked them to return the $150.00 so far no return call from them. Be ware!! read more

Carl from AAA came to our home yesterday upon the request of our landlord to look at our faulty dishwasher. Although he couldn't find the problem right then he was able to switch gears and look at our clothes dryer which quit on us the night before. We own the dryer so we paid out of pocket for the fix, which was affordable, and he was able to do it in about ten minutes flat. He was extremely courteous and pleasant to be around which is a rarity in repairmen these days. He gave us his number and told us to call him when the dishwasher quits again and he would be right over. All in all it was a very nice experience with a repairman we hadn't dealt with before. read more

My dryer stopped turning and started making a howling noise just one day before the family comes in town for Thanksgiving. I simply found this company via Google and they were the nicest and most accommodating to getting it within my need time- same day. After setting an apt window of 5-8pm, I was contacted by Lee who gave me 30min alert he was on his way. He showed up right on time and was very friendly- even showing me exactly what the issue was. The price was very reasonable -I'm very happy with our selection of AAA and definitely recommend their services. read more

Will never use AAA Appliance Repair again. Started having a problem with our Maytag wide-by-side refrigerator/freezer last December. Called a different repair service & they came out & did a couple of things & got it working temporarily. Wasn't that happy with them so found AAA Appliance Repair & called them first week in January, 2015. John (?) came out & determined that the compressor was bad & needed replacing. Phoned later that day & said he was going on vacation but that another repairman (Jean Bosue) could replace the compressor in a few days if OK. I agreed thinking he was just sending another technician. He came out as we were told & replaced the compressor. I learned on his visit that he did not work for AAA but had his own company called B&B Home Maintenance. Basically AAA had subcontracted the work to B&B which we weren't aware of. Another few days later refrigerator still not cooling properly so we called AAA & they said I needed to call B&B since he put in the compressor. We called B&B & he came back & said compressor was OK & that another part was probably bad so we had that part replaced. Several days later the refrigerator was still not cooling properly so we called AAA. After MANY calls John from AAA came out & checked the compressor. It was low on freon so he added some & said he would get with B&B to come & take care of the compressor. That was at the end of February & It is now the end of March & no one has contacted us to make this situation right. We have called & left messages which have been ignored. We told John (AAA) when he was here last that we were to the point that if they would just take the compressor & refund even a portion of the cost, we were going to purchase a new refrigerator. Tired of trying to fix this one & very tired of trying to get them to make it right. Bottom line is that AAA subcontracted the work to B&B but are refusing to back up B&B's work. I must say everyone we have been in contact with has been very nice & understanding of the problem but keep telling us that B&B has to correct the issue since he installed the compressor. I understand their point, however we contracted with AAA for the repairs ... NOT B&B. I would think that they would have some sort of professional obligation to make it right but they have not. So, beware if you use AAA & make sure THEY are doing the work. read more

Dependable and honest. Highly recommend them. John was our technician and he was great!

We were quoted one price and charged another when the work was over (on our dryer repair). Guess I should have gotten it in writing but didn't. Sloppy work (he didn't clean up after himself). I had to vacuum up all the lint mess off the floor. Would not recommend. Too many good ones out there. read more
