It was around 4 pm on a Friday and he told me that he would get back to me on Monday because he would have to do some research. On Tuesday afternoon I called him and he never came to the phone. Finally, Stanley picked up and proceeded to tell about all of the pitfalls of rebuilding your own turbo and convinced me that it would be the more logical solution to replace the turbo with a new one so it was ordered and I was told that he would call me when it came in on Wednesday...on Thursday I called and was told that it was in. In the background I could hear Stanley say I left him message. Which was a lie, I have had the same number since 1993 and no voice mail was left from him. Anyway I picked up the Turbo (80 mile round trip) and talked to a real nice tech named Wes and we talked several minutes and he gave some advice regarding mounting and pre-oiling the turbo. After installation I cleared all the codes and gave my truck a test drive and it ran great except I did not have the power under a load that I had before the trouble started. No codes returned. So I called back the next Monday (Stanley answered the phone) and asked if I could talk to Wes to see if he could point me in a direction to solve the low power under load situation. Stanley said the he don't let mechanics talk on the phone that they need to be in the shop earning money. I identified myself and Stanley basically told me that all I did was easy stuff and that it was probably the pump, injectors or low compression...and that I was not a professional and a pro needed to look at the truck. He told me that he would drive it the way it is. So service after the sale is pretty much nonexistent...granted I am not a Ford mechanic, but I have worked in the automotive service industry and feel I am reasonably competent. As helpful as Wes was, Stanley's message was loud and clear "I sold you the part...leave us alone." I will not use them again and everyone I know will hear about the crappy treatment after the sale.
