Our RV limped into Helena with 2 check engine lights as J & D was closing. Our month long…read morevacation/RV travel was into its 2d day when things went wrong. Several others dealers refused to even look at the RV due to their work load being too high. Jeremiah took the time to look at it, analyze the issue and stated working on it immediately. Unfortunately, as some repairs go, things did not go well due to multiple issues. Something was seriously wrong with the fuel system wiring and even with replacement sensors, the issues persisted. At one point we were considering abandoning the vacation and returning home by car but Jeremiah persisted until he discovered a major electrical connection deep into the bowels of the RV had been shook loose due to harsh road conditions and gotten wet. At the end of the 2d day Jeremiah called to tell us he had located the final issue and we could pick it up and continue. The bill was more than fair, and we continued over an additional 7,000 miles without incident. Great work and great employees. Thank you Jeremiah!!!

Our 38' motor home and car trailer had to be towed to their facility. The towing process was good…read more Upon arrival we were told our issue may possibly be looked at today or tomorrow, explaining that they are short staffed and very busy. Our approximate time of arrival was 12:30pm. At around 4pm I went into the office seeking an update and if they were able to get our coach looked at. Customer service totally is lacking. I was not given an answer or even an approximate time or something to let us know if we would be taken care of tomorrow morning. We are "camping" in a tight area and unable to move our slide rooms out even a little bit. We are staying in their parking lot with our generator running as it is very hot here and wild fire smoke is in the air. My husband suffers from COPD. I will update my review tomorrow if our situation improves.

We broke down in Deer Lodge, Montana, with our 36-foot Country Coach diesel motorhome. We talked to…read moreDave at Grizzly, and he recommended Montana Towing to transport our coach to their shop. Montana Towing did an outstanding job loading our coach onto a flatbed and getting it safely to Grizzly. Once it arrived, the team at Grizzly quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary parts, and worked us into their busy schedule. Everyone was kind, accommodating, and kept us informed throughout the repair. We were back on the road much sooner than we expected and made it home without any further issues. The mechanics are excellent, and the quality of their work is outstanding. Grizzly is a great shop to deal with, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing RV diesel repairs.

If I could give them LESS than 1 I would. i have taken my…read moreF250 to them many times and they did OK, But the last time was the WORST experience I have ever had, EVER, I took it in because of an oil leak from a striped drain plug. Should be easy. They call me to say the leak was because my oil filter had come loose. but the drain plug was also striped. OK...and the turbo pedestal was starting to leak, OK, I told them to go ahead and fix it. After a couple of weeks I call to check on the progress. They say they ordered the wrong part and are waiting for the correct part. OK. When i go in to pick it up, I find that they have also decided that I needed coolant. Without my authorization, they charged me $32 and put the jug in my truck. They only use a cup of coolant! Then I see that they charged me $21 for expedited shipping after THEY ordered the wrong part. Now I am trying to do an oil and filter change and, after 2/12 hours I am unable to get the oil filter off and I had to use a pry bar to get the drain plug out! If you want someone to sabotage your equipment, make unauthorized charges AND charge you for their errors, Grizzly Diesel is the place to go.

Technician did the cable first and then the inspection. He failed to note that the heat didn't work(sense he failed to reconnect the cables during a winter storm). They also parked the car in 2nd gear, downhill without using the E-break which lead to injuries to an adult and a minor. When I returned Monday to get the heat fixed the excuse was that the E-break was broken as well. which was not on the inspection either. This incident Reminded me why I stopped using this business. They did address a minor other issue (removing a front hitch) I'd told them about at no charge and I want to acknowledge that but it was a distant second to the priority work. The next week I had a subsequent appointment to have an issue on a separate car fixed and they hadn't been able to track down the part that entire day. I'd been specific about what it needed in advance. All in all. I didn't feel listened to when I described what I needed, and two days were wasted. I did find the staff there to be courteous and professional in all instances. However, I wanted to try this place out just in case I needed something fixed and my longtime preferred mechanic wasn't available, and I won't be going back.
