What a nice mechanic! Was able to get right in and took about 15 to 20 minutes. Was able to get out of there. There was one person ahead of me but they have two service bays. The owner who I believe is also the mechanic offered myself and the other customers that arrived water that were refrigerated. He even helped me with a loose piece of bumper at no cost. After you cross Oleander it's on your right hand side. Small shop but the service is quick. Takes about 20 mins. The guy (owner?) gives you water while you wait, which is nice! Entrance to the Smog Inspection is through the AAA main drive way entrance on Figueroa. Less than 5 mins drive from USC. During the week day, I didn't even have to wait. I pulled up and the technician was ready for me. Got my car pass and I was done with smog check within 20 minutes. His place is tiny shop right after you pass oleander, and he has a nice shady waiting area plus a cold bottle of water for you while you wait! $50 for the test, $8 for certification.
