They sent Ryan Simpson to stop by on his way home on Friday, May 16th. I have security camera videos showing his time of arrival and departure. As soon as Ryan arrived, we walked to the back of the house and he checked the tap and said that nothing was broken, but he replaced a small part that was bent. He said it was an easy fix and muttered something about $24... which I assumed was the cost of the part. He then sat down on my front steps and pulled out his card reader and I handed him my Credit Card. He then asked me to insert my password, which I did. I asked him for a copy of my bill as I needed to know the amount before I paid. He said he could not give me a copy of the invoice but it would be sent to my computer. I went into the house to see if it had arrived and was shocked not only at the amount charged for a ten minute "easy fix" job but, but, more important, what was written at the bottom of the invoice. I had NOT agreed to the price of $205.53 PRIOR to start of work! In fact, at no point had I been told what the cost would be! The bill had been received on my computer at 5:21 p.m. as indicated on my computer. Ryan Simpson left my house at 5:21 p.m. as indicated on my security camera, so the payment would have been processed a few minutes earlier, PRIOR to the bill being sent. I immediately went back outside to speak to Ryan Simpson, but he had already left. He had activated my payment BEFORE I had been sent the bill so the statement that "I agree to the initial price of $205.53 as quoted prior to the start of work..." is a blatant lie. I phoned Mr. Rooter right away and left a message to contact me. My phone call was returned the following day and when I complained about not having been given a copy of the bill or told the price before receiving the bill, the woman at Mr Rooter started screaming at me and slammed the phone down.

Well...it is 6:57 on Thursday. I first contacted this company on Tuesday...they set up an…read moreappointment for Wednesday at 2:30..then bumped it to 6:00 ish (ok someone was vomitting and they had to replace him..I get that..no sweat I understand...6 ish it is)..tbut then bumped to 'maybe later', then promised early the next day...come the next day (now Thursday ) it started all over again for 1:00, then 3:00...and here I am..now 6:59...and it is officially a no show...Thanks for your consideration of my time...I was polite...I was flexible..but you not only could not keep any of the time frames you promised me...but didn't respect my business enough to call and tell me you simply were not coming. I will be posting this on Facebook...and have no desire to obtain services from you in the future! Thanks for nothing...Barbara
