He came out personally for a full consultation and walked us through the entire process step by step. He explained exactly what needed to be done, why it was necessary, and what we could expect throughout the project. His knowledge and experience immediately gave us confidence that we were making the right decision. The quality of the work was A+. The crew showed up ready to work every day, was extremely respectful of our home, and worked incredibly hard. They communicated with us throughout the entire project, kept us informed of their progress, and always arrived when they said they would. As with many restoration projects, a few unexpected issues were discovered once work began. Instead of surprising us, Steve took the time to explain everything thoroughly, discuss our options, and answer every question we had. This is a significant investment, and knowing the owner was just a text or phone call away provided tremendous peace of mind. If you're looking for a company that values honesty, communication, and quality workmanship, I highly recommend AKME. Steve and his team exceeded our expectations, and we're extremely grateful for the care they took with our home.

I really appreciated how honest, efficient, and professional he was throughout the whole process. It is not always easy to find someone you can trust, but Steve absolutely earned that trust. I would definitely recommend AKME Waterproofing. His pricing was very in line with what I expected it to be when I researched it and I found great value in everything they did for me.

Joel was patient, kind and very knowledgeable on any questionable concerns that I had about my home repair in the crawlspace. The day of service, the crew came out on time and was ready to work. They also were very kind and transparent while working in my home. Winston was the lead contractor and he was definitely very knowledgeable too. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs mold remediation and encapsulation for crawlspace. I feel like I spent my dollar wisely and well. And yes, I think the pricing was reasonable as well. Call American Crawlspace today! Thanks again guys!!!

Joel was super professional with his inspection and estimate process. He was willing to work around out busy schedule and gave us a reasonable quote for the work the most needed done to secure our foundation. The crew members that did the work were also extremely professional and competent. The crew leader (Winston) explained what was being done and what improvements could be expected and what the limitations involved were as well. We now feel confident that the main problem areas have been addressed and our hose is safe from future settling damage. Thanks Guys for a job well done. We highly recommend ACS to anyone needed work on their foundation. 5 Stars!

We paid $10,000 for our crawlspace to be encapsulated in 2023. I would think the key aspect of…read morekeeping the crawlspace dry is the dehumidifier. The one this company installed in 2023 quit working in 2024 after the one year warranty expired and I had to pay $1,000 to have another one installed. March 2025 the dehumidifier quit again. I called and they sent a technician out here and he said the company no longer uses those dehumidifiers. He inferred that they are of substandard quality and if I purchased another it would be quite expensive. He checked the dehumidifier and said my electrical outlet had switched it off. So, I paid an electrician to replace the outlet with one that doesn't automatically switch off. The dehumidifier continued to quit working. So, I asked an HVAC company to come and check it out. He said the dehumidifier is fills with water and cuts off because it isn't draining properly. He emptied it out and said it hadn't been correctly installed. He said it needed a condensation pump and the tubing needed to be replaced. I tried to reach someone at Crawlspaces and More and for weeks never received a return call. I finally received an email from Jim and he said he would come out and make sure the dehumidifier was on and charge me $200. I told them to forget it. I called a reputable company and they installed a very nice dehumidifier and replaced the door to my crawlspace. Ours was wood and rotted because it was decades old. They said Crawlspaces and More should have replaced it to thoroughly encapsulate the crawlspace. The new company installed a custom fit door that is air tight and sealed. I would not recommend Crawlspaces and More.

I scheduled my repair date six weeks out from the day I met with my sales person. A few days before the scheduled repair was to take place I received a text saying it was moved. I called to say this was not convenient for me and I had scheduled those particular days for a reason. Sara was very rude and basically said tough. They had already scheduled a larger more important job for my original date and they had not gotten my permits back yet. The new date for repairs arrived. No one showed up. I called and they said my permits hadn't come back and they moved my job yet again. No one bothered to let me know that. I called my city permits office. AquaGuard had not even applied for my permits until the day of my first appointment. This process usually takes around two weeks, but my city said they would rush them through after I told her what was happening. I called AquaGuard out on this and said that I had gotten the permits they needed. I spoke with Mike Shannon, district manager, and told him I thought he should refund all or at least part of the nearly $1,000 I paid for permits and filing since they were not done when they should have been. He said that they filed them and now had them so no he would not refund any money. The crew finally showed up and were dropped off. Their supervisor left them until well after 6:00 that evening. They had no transportation and had no food that entire day. I found this out the next morning when they arrived to finish the job. I sent my husband to get them lunch that day. They missed the inspection and that was delayed until the third day. The hole they dug could not be filled in until after the inspection. They said they would come back in the afternoon the fill them in. On day five they came back and filled them in. The cracks are larger than before they started. I will see if the repairs they made will hold. Only time will tell.
