It is always best to choose a local business who's owner is also an operator, as is this business. That said, I called the main number and left a message. We had a clog somewhere in our system and water was backing up in our bathroom. Within a few minutes I received a call back and made an appointment for the next day between 10-12. Mario arrived a few minutes after 10. I took him in and we talked about the back up inside, then took him our to our septic system. He looked around for a few minutes and told me just where he through the clog was. With one tank cover off, he sent his snake through one of the inlet pipes, and all at once the waste water whished through the main pipe and the clog was cleared. We also have a dump pipe for our travel trailer, which he snaked to clear out. Within 45 minutes we were up and flowing as good as new. Before he left, he said he wanted to check our septic tank filter, which was also clogged. He cleaned that out, too. To say that were were happy with the service AND the bill would be an understatement. His work is top notch and he is a very friendly person to work with and talk to. We are happy to call him if something else comes up in the future.

My first thought was that the company(Steele Septic) that performed the work hadn't really drained the tank. I called APOLLO in an effort to ask some questions. This is when I found out that Steele Septic had been bought by Apollo a few months after we bought our house. I inquired as to why a 1,250 gallon tank would already need to be pumped. I was provided with several possibilities as to what the issues could be......with one being that it had not been pumped. They offered to come out to identify the problem. There would be a service fee of $150 and if they pumped out the tank, it would be about $300(for our size septic). There is a savings offered when you know where the caps are located. Before actually setting up an appointment, we spoke to Jeremy about our concerns. Jeremy took the time to educate us about the ins and outs of a septic system and the steps he would take to determine what the issue was with our system. He basically walked my husband through all the steps. (Did you know there is a filter that can be accessed and should be cleaned periodically to help keep a septic system in good operating condition?) Luckily, my husband has a background that enabled him to fix our issue! My husband's Valentine's gift to me....hahaha! Jeremy did not have to take the time to explain everything. He could have just scheduled an appointment and sent someone over to do what needed to be done and then billed us for the work completed. We appreciated his efforts and even though he nor his company came out to service our system, I will use them in the future. APOLLO deals with sH!+, but their customer service is far from sh!++y!
