Last month (10/15/2021), I needed to find someone to serve a temporary restraining order against a family member. I looked at my options online, and A1 Small Claims came up highly rated. So, I contacted Dan (the owner, I presume). I did not know where the family member was, in order to serve the order. I began the process with Dan, but unexpectedly, I ran into a local police officer who knew where the party to be served was, and the officer served the order. Done deal, and I called Dan and let him know what happened. He did not charge me anything. Next month (November 2021), I petitioned a court judge to grant me a permanent restraining order against this same person. I contacted Dan again, and within an hour or two he had driven to the courthouse (a 38 mile drive), had the restraining order served AND, most importantly, emailed me the "proof of service" document which is essential to make the order legal. I filed that proof of service document today at the courthouse, and now it is a done deal. Thanks Dan!
