Our septic had backed up and overflowed and after handling all the damage control we needed someone to come and pump. Now, a little background here. I have experience working with contractors and handymen on 2 continents, and I have been fighting the Yelp battle for good service for over a year now, whilst I tried to get my house ready to sell. Also, keep in mind that this was the last week of the year, and most businesses were shutdown for the holidays. That being said, and this is going to sound funny, but it was the people who pumped my septic who gave me the best customer service I've ever received. No joke. Andrea (who handles the appointments over the phone) was warm, personable, and SO very considerate. She said they were pretty well booked, but when I explained my emergency, she somehow managed to fit me in just before the weekend! She kept me updated every step of the way. When Austin (hope I got his name right) arrived, he was the ideal of what everyone who hires a contractor hopes arrives at their home. He was on time, courteous, professional, friendly. He dug up the holes without any complaint. (Which wasn't easy, as I was his fourth customer of the day, and there were roots like you wouldn't believe.) And he chatted with me like we were old friends while he took extra time to rinse out the effluent tank. They really are just a small family, business, I found out, who own the truck and decided to go into this line of work after their own septic 'refunded' on them. TLDR: All in all, DFW Septic did everything right, and I only wish they were in a different line of work, so I could call upon their services more often!

Mike and Kathy (a husband-and-wife team) took their time to explain everything about an aerobic septic system in a way that was easy to understand. They were incredibly kind, patient, and honest about what would be required and what would not. If they are this generous and informative before I've even used their services, I can only imagine how great they are as a company. Based on this experience alone, I will definitely be using them and highly recommend them.

Roto rooter in cedar hill has really shocked me that they would treat people this way with such…read moredisregard towards a customer. I have a leak in my front yard so i scheduled them to come out between 2 and 5 today. I also had one source plumbing coming out at 8:30am -9am. Roto rooter called me back and said they had a time this morning open and could have someone come out in the morning. I said great didnt tuink anything of it. The one source guy got here and was wrapping up when the roto rooter guy drove past looked dead at me and kept driving. I called his dispatch and they said traditionally if abither plumber is there they will wait for the other to leave as a courtesy. I said oh ok i understand but the one source guy has left so he can come back. I watched the plumber drive by again and keep going. I called them back and they said they will have him come back. It is now 5 hours later at 2 pm i called them and said hey, the guy never came back so are yall going to honor the 2 to 5 window you originally scheduled me for? She told me well we took you off the board so we dont have anyone available to go out there. Then she follows that by saying, "and besides if you're price shopping we probably arent the cheapest". She said it in a condescending way as if speaking down to me. Truly a business out for their own bottom dollar and clearly do not care about customers. One source however has made me a great deal on a camera scope and pressure test and they were on time and treated me with respect. Very professional, knowledable, we walked my property and examined what was going on. Really good people.
