I reached out to them last week after water started falling from the upstairs bathroom into the first floor bathroom of the duplex we own. I sent them a message via Yelp and their office responded within the hour, allowing me to pick the time when they would come out the following day. And from there we were rolling. During the initial visit, Cody deduced that there was likely a problem with the flange and wax ring in the upstairs toilet. When they came back the next work day to do the work, we ended up having to get into the walls, where it was easy to see that the 100+-year-old cast iron pipes, original to the home, were actually rusting, with very noticeable cracks in them, leaking water throughout. Over the next day and a half, YSOP replaced ye olde pipes, patched another leak, replaced the flanges on both toilets in the building and moved the plumbing for the basement washing machines, since they already had to work in that vicinity anyway. This was a big job, that didn't come cheap, but they were upfront with all costs and kept to their quote. I also appreciated that they called to give me a 20-minute warning before they showed up each time. Through and through, YSOP was easy to work with, respectful of me and my property and thorough communicated. I will definitely use them again!

Aaron Jackson was the technician that provided the estimate in a very reasonable time. We had a few items that needed to be completed before the work could be done; but he still provided an estimate. Other remodeling was completed made a few changes of the above and he quickly re-did the estimate to adjust it. Contacted Greenwell to move forward and schedule it. Scheduling was quick and Aaron showed as scheduled and started the work. He continually keep us in the loop as he progressed or if he had a question for our input before performing a the task just to be sure we were okay with what he was going to do or provided some other options. He a wonderful person and good technician. He always cleaned up after himself which in itself is a testament to his standards. ( we had other workers that that just didn't seem part of their job, it makes a difference) This is the 2 nd time this year we have used Greenwell and have been pleased with the staff and work performed. Their website offered free quotes, and I had questioned that over the phone. They were quick to send someone out to assess the situation. Upon arrival, the job seemed harder then expected too quote, so I was told they would gather the correct personnel and be back out to the site. Upon second arrival, they had assessed the area for roughly an hour. Gave me my options of either trying to find the leak, or just replace the entire line. I asked for a quote for both options. A few days passed and I received a detailed quote of what I had asked for. Its been a few years now but i believe we were quoted $120 an hour for labor.I agreed we would just replace the entire line, rather then go through the hassle of trying to find the leak. I was not home the day they had broken ground. Upon breaking ground at 9am. They found the leak immediately, rather then letting me know they patched the leak and cleaned the area and left. I received a call around 11am saying the job was finished. I was surprised, they said they just went ahead and patched the line which we didn't agree too, however I was glad the job was finished. Until we got the bill of over $800. The bill was not itemized and had a very quick due date. We don't let bills go unpaid, so we mailed a check when we got it. I did the math of the 2 hours at the labor rate they quoted us. And couldn't figure out how it was that high of a bill. At that pricing I would have rather had the line replaced as we talked about just to be on the safe side. After paying the bill, I emailed the guy who got me the quote was generous enough to give me an itemized bill. There I saw where we had paid for the quote and the time it took to send the guys out. Their quote was not even close to what we were charged. I wrote back confused, and got a response that was less then sub par. Somewhat along the lines of " we are a Christian company, we've been in business for over x amount of years. We value our customers." That was the last I ever heard from them. Just wanted to post this. I will say they did do good work, just didn't stay true to their quote and didn't communicate as I expected them to do. This was also a project done 2 years ago.

Unbelievably BAD business! First of all, they came to our home after our basement was flooded with…read more18 inches of sewage/water. Our gas water heater was sitting in this mess for several days. The plumber turned it ON and said we were "ready to go." It was, according to a google search and several plumbers I spoke with (and an inspection by another plumber) later that day, a serious fire and explosion hazard, and should NOT have been done. I reported this to MSD (with whom we have a claim), and they sent the company back out to replace the water heater. After the job was done, I was told by a woman at the office (over the phone) that she would be getting in touch with me to give me a number to call to arrange the city code inspection. I never heard from her. I called back several weeks later and was given the information. I asked why no one never got in touch with me, and she said, "I don't know. Maybe something was misplaced." What? It seems to me that this company is not at all concerned with their liability. First they do something that is extremely irresponsible. (I was told by several plumbers that the old water heater could have caught fire or exploded after it was turned back on.) Then, they don't make any effort whatsoever to arrange the code inspection. I don't trust them at all.
