Referred to me by my cousin and aunt. They were very quick and got me in right away (the next day!)

The safety manager advised I…read morecould not pursue the claim because I didn't report it within 72 hours and I didn't have a video of the incident. Allied/Berger does NOT enforce ANY sanitation protocols regarding personal hygiene (showering), wearing booties, and mask wearing by workers. I've had to disinfect our home (including floors) twice now, after workers left. I am shocked that Arhaus uses such a dirty, unprofessional company for their furniture deliveries.

My job has necessitated many moves. I've used Allied for at least one-third to as many as half of…read morethem. WITHOUT DOUBT, THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH A MOVING COMPANY, EVER. By agreement, the crew was to show up for pickup between 8-10AM February 23. Did not hear from the driver until NOON, with an explanation that he had gotten "delayed" and was ten minutes out. He showed up at 12:30PM. Two-man crew, not the usual three one would expect for a three-bedroom house. Once there, moved fast. TOO fast. Mattress and box springs were loaded without coverings. Furniture was loaded without coverings or padding to prevent scratches or gouges. My load was one of five in a full-sized truck. NO attempt, save a rope, to separate one load from another, My move was 660 miles distant -- from Charlestown, IN to West Monroe, LA. Was not delivered until March 9. Gouges and scratches on an antique chest and dining table. Dirt on mattresses and box springs. Crew LOST: an antique chest, 42" flat-screen Tv, Bose speaker system, stereo receiver, and brass planter. As I write this --- three months later -- the dispute has NOT been resolved and the crew denies it loaded these items. Truck also CRUSHED an asphalt parking divider at my apartment complex, in full view of the complex maintenance staff. Berger has denied any responsibility and refuses to compensate the complex for SIGNIFICANT damage. Thoroughly devoid of any responsibility, accountability or character.

I was quite stressed about my move because it was the first time that I, at 70 years old, had to manage a household move on my own, having lost my husband nearly a year ago. I had worked at packing until nearly midnight the night before the scheduled move and was not at all confident it would go well. Within minutes of the extremely professional team showing up, my stress level was in check and going down. I have experienced many corporate moves over my career, but none had workers more committed and invested in the success of the move. This team was phenomenal. I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for your moves in the Louisville, KY area.

I would **never** use Two Men and a Truck again, and I strongly encourage others to be cautious…read more When the movers arrived, one of the first things they pointed out was that I had purchased the additional valuation/protection coverage. They told me they could save me money by removing it, so I signed the paperwork to take it off. Looking back, I deeply regret that decision. During the move, my son's **brand-new, never-worn $200 Air Jordan sneakers**, which were not packed in a box, disappeared. Because our belongings were placed in temporary storage after the move, I didn't realize they were missing until about one to two weeks later. Since this happened in **April 2026**, I have been trying to get this matter resolved. I have repeatedly attempted to contact the local manager, but my calls have never been returned. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, my credit card company has required me to jump through countless hoops. I filed a police report, provided the purchase receipt showing the shoes were bought in April, and now I've been asked to write an additional statement that repeats the same information already included in the police report. Meanwhile, I have not seen any indication that my credit card company has contacted Two Men and a Truck about my dispute. Based on my experience, I question why customers are encouraged to remove the additional protection coverage before a move. It left me feeling unprotected when my property went missing. This experience has been frustrating from start to finish. I have lost trust in this company and will never use its services again. **Beware and carefully consider whether to keep any protection coverage you purchase.**
