Mistakes happen but a lack of customer service is an issue to me. It's been two weeks and my gel manicures is chipped and peeling off. This seems unacceptable for a gel manicure and I've never had this happen before. The front sssk said they can't do anything over a week without management and gave me the manager's number. I called and left a message but never heard back. The pedicures have been consistently good so I would go for those but maybe skip anything else unless you have a technician you know and love

This was my first encounter with Julep. Upon arriving I immediately noticed how efficient Julep's customer service was provided in a timely manner, and every client was instructed to wash their hands before being serviced (unique trademark & procedure). Prices were fair for services rendered. Nikki was very professional and honest in an exemplary way to me about the services and what she recommended to do on my nails. She was managing the staff, greeting all the incoming clients, and answering all phone calls while she was taking care of me. I was impressed by her performance in customer service & professionalism, yet I think a front desk person is needed to do these services. It did not bother me, yet I know certain types of clientele have different expectations and want no distractions. I was actually very impressed by her multitasking skills. She recommended a dip or Diamond nails over the acrylic I had ordered on my nails, so I decided to go in that direction. She explained how the Diamond nails was more durable and lasted longer than acrylic. It also came with a manicure. It was also more affordable. She took off the remnants of my acrylic which was a relief. The overall result was a more suitable option and very satisfactory. The only concerns I had were minimal, easily excusable, and resolved immediately. This is why I did not give the review a perfect score. I was not offered a drink like some of the clients. It was probably because I came in with a drink and did not ask. I bought a drink next door. There were some remnants of the nail powder dye left on my fingers and hands. I didn't notice all the dark nail dye all over my hands and fingers until I examined it outside, so I went back and had it immediately corrected to satisfactory standards. It has been a couple of weeks yet the nails look immaculate still. I scheduled another appointment and look forward to Nikki doing my nails again.

If you decide to work on another client, you should be the one moving. I was sitting with acetone for about 20 minutes. That is completely unacceptable, unnecessary, and unprofessional . This is after he used a drill on my dip top coat. He continued with the new customer and did not come to check my nails until I spoke up. He was beginning to put on tips for the other customer. The new nail tech asked me about five times if she could make one of my nails longer. I said no thanks, I want it how it is. A sign at the business says to talk to management rather than go to Yelp.. but the key here is that poor communication and service were evident. The business also only guarantees 7 days for dip, acrylic.. most places are two weeks. So they also are not confident in their skill and service. Also, there is a military discount but only for active duty members, not their spouses. That is so unfortunate. I'll be going to the nail salon further away from my house from now on. They support military members AND their spouses and provide a much better service. It took an hour and a half for my nails to be done.

I got the spa pedicure at $59 which included a pretty decent callus remover, scrub, soak, and 10 minute massage. I honestly was impressed. My total came out to be $89 due to gel And French upcharge. I love that Daisy was extremely detailed, but speedy especially with all she had to do. I had acrylics done else where and I loved how they came out, but it was way too long and the previous nail tech knicked me a lot around my cuticles with the efile and cuticle trimmer. I had scabs on almost every toe. Daisy worked around what I had not removing my previous acrylics, but smoothing them out and gel polishing the rest. She kept asking if I was satisfied with color and thickness of my French. I enjoyed her attentively! Will be back soon! The scrub gets exfoliate with fresh oranges, they also offer beverages at no cost!!!

Only off things were there was an occasional little fly (like fruit fly) when my toe nails were drying and my daughter said the same by the manicure station, it wasn't dirty so not sure why but the little pesky fly is annoying when you are getting nails done. When we arrived, one of us was taken immediately and I had to wait like 30 or so minutes for my nails to be started as the nail tech was running behind. Not a big deal, though, especially since they moved my original appointment for me. I didn't catch her name but the Afro-Latina woman sitting toward the front did a fab job on my stiletto full set with builder gel. Another woman did a fabulous job on my daughter's pedicure ($25). In total, we paid $95 for both services. Everyone here was very nice and they even offered drinks and fresh fruit as a snack. It was clean inside, and the bathroom was also clean. I would definitely return. My nails look exactly how I wanted them to, and we had a good experience.
