A1 Machine and Fabrication is a high-capacity production shop based in Randleman, NC. We specialize in precision CNC machining and heavy-duty metal fabrication for the Piedmont Triad and nationwide.
Our Capabilities:
Ultra-Power Laser Cutting: We run 12kW Fiber Laser for lightning-fast plate cutting and 6kW Tube Laser for complex notching and profile work. We handle the thick-gauge and intricate tube jobs that other shops turn down.
Multi-Axis Machining: Full 3, 4, and 5-axis milling (Haas VF-6) and high-speed CNC turning (ST-30/ST-10). We hold tight tolerances for aerospace, medical, and high-performance automotive parts.
Production Welding: Robotic Welding (OTC) for consistent high-volume runs and Handheld Laser Welding for clean, zero-distortion joints on stainless steel.
Full-Service Fabrication: 242-ton CNC bending, horizontal pressing, vibratory deburring, and laser part marking.

History
Established in 2018.
Founded in 2018, A1 Machine and Fabrication was built on a simple reputation: if Billy and the team can’t fix it or build it, nobody can. Coming from a deep background in heavy equipment and industrial repair, we understood the frustration of "ghosting" shops and parts that don't fit the first time.
Since then, we’ve transformed from a local repair shop into a high-tech manufacturing partner. By bringing in automated tube lasers and robotic welding, we’ve scaled up to handle massive production runs without losing the individual attention each job deserves. We’re proud of how far we’ve come—from 2018 to now operating some of the most powerful fiber lasers in North Carolina. We’re ready for the next decade of keeping American manufacturing strong.
