Called first number i found online and thank goodness i did! from start to finish; -quick response and communication, ON POINT! -Show up time, great! -2 keys cut and programmed -40min +/- time for both keys -provided information on one car that the old key had a weak signal which TOYOTA took a whole day, with appointment to say "nothing is wrong, key is good" to be left with a key that ended up not working again the next day. This is my first review here . I wanted other potential customers to hear about my experience with A1 Lock Barstow. I was on my way from Ventura California to Bullhead City Arizona , and pulled off the highway to let my dog out . Somehow after being out of the car less than 5 minutes I managed to lose the key to the he took my messed up situation and completelycar . It has yet to be found . Believe me I searched and searched the tiny little area that I was in . Short story longer, we called A1 lock . Now I was over 50 miles away from Barstow . It was 110° Plus . I will cut to the chase ...they showed up in an hour! With no key or a spare to copy, they worked their magic ( I had also by this point locked myself out of the car ) and had a key made for me cut and programmed within about 10 minutes . He also cut a metal non transponder key to make it easier in case I lost my key again in the future the fee was extremely reasonable , judging from seeing a friend get a similar service a couple years ago elsewhere . In that case the locksmith didn't have to travel more than a few miles and the price was more than I got charged this day . He also helped me in other ways , for instance he programmed another key for me a month later when I was passing back through Barstow for free so now I have two . I highly recommend that anybody needing locksmith services make this your first call. He swooped in and saved the day. NOBODY WILL DO WHAT HE DID FOR ME. Life Saver!!! If I could give 10 stars I would, A-1 Locksmith drove 210 miles round trip for us! My family and I were in Dumont Dunes and I lost the keys to my RV, with no spares we were going to crazy looking for them. I found them from the hotel lobby where I locked the keys in my truck in the midst of dealing with a broken engine belt and bad positive battery wire. The guy who came out was completely rude and even though I only called for a price estimate he showed up anyway. When he got there, I saw him mere seconds about to break into my car! So of course I ran out to ask who he was, and then he threatened to call the police should I deny him service! This man actually threatened me. He also didn't ask for any identification, and insisted on cash. When we could only pay with a card he got even more irritated. I do believe this was a scam. Please don't trust this place!
