This was an ideal experience and I'd recommend it to anyone else looking to sell gold or jewelry.

Fortunately I also checked with Diamond and Gold Exchange. Sam patiently answered several of my questions over the phone and then when I brought my items he was incredibly professional and transparent with the appraising and testing of everything. The prices were better than my other bids even while accounting for the change in the price of gold. Sam made a complicated decision for me very simple with his fantastic communication and service. I will definitely return for any other needs in the future.

ASK FOR Edward or Anghelo and I promise you WILL get the best services in the industry, will get paid TOP DOLLAR if you're looking to sell your jewelry, coins, paper currency, etc., and will 10/10 receive the BEST PRICES in the DFW area entirely when looking to purchase whatever piece you're looking for - beautiful engagement rings, sick diamond/gold/silver chains, earrings, plus top notch US & foreign currency and more. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews you see about this location, they're most likely from individuals who don't understand the business side of things regarding the time & effort it takes to sell certain pieces, and most likely believed their items were of more value than what was offered. It's a business and both sides have to make money. As far as I'm concerned as someone being in this business myself, we both shook hands and walked away happy after a solid, fair exchange. Quite honestly, Edward hooked me up just as much if not more than I did him, no hassle or disagreement what so ever. I'm not some "bot" and don't work for nor was I given ANY incentive to leave my honest review about this location, these guys are seriously just solid, genuine, brothers who take pride in what they do, serving the customer in the the best way possible whether you're buying or selling. I heard great things from a few of my buddies who buy & sell gold and silver before I even showed up (which is the reason I chose to make the 35 minute drive to this store) and I was NOT let down if you can't tell already by the start of my review and I NEVER leave Yelp reviews. If anything, the service I was provided by Edward was TOP TIER & I've been doing this for quite some time now! I haven't found ANYONE/ANY SHOP better than this location and these two guys, Edward and Anghelo. If you are looking to sell or purchase valuable gold, silver, coins, or paper currency, look no further as someone who's been doing this for years, trust me. THESE ARE THE GUYS YOU WANT TO GO TO! I also must mention, Anghelo was kind enough to wait almost 45 minutes after closing to help me out even though I never made it and when I did finally make it today (a couple days later), I was treated like I've known the guys for years! Edward had absolutely no problem going through each piece one by one by one (I brought quite a bit of jewelry) which kept him 40 minutes after hours due to me showing up last minute @ 8:50 yet he STILL gave me the best offer I've received from anyone, anywhere else. Don't waste your time "shop hopping" to find the best prices or get the best offer for any of your items, "Jewelers Cash For Gold" on 3797 Forest Lane in Dallas IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE PLACE TO GO! What an awesome experience!…read more I went to 3 other jewelry stores prior to finding Gillespie Fine Jewelers for my wedding set. I tried a small independently owned one that quoted me over twice as much. I tried a big box one that claimed the small one was wrong about what needed to be done to keep my wedding set in good shape and wanted to charge 4 times as much (not an exaggeration-I was floored). The third one I went to, told me that they couldn't quote me until their jeweler was back on Monday, but I could leave the rings with them and they'd call me-no thank you. THEN I found Gillespie Fine Jewelers and I knew this is where everyone I love needs to come. I met the owner Kim, and his calm familiar demeanor immediately set me at ease. He was honest and fair in quoting me for my set. He actually agreed with the diagnosis from the first store which made me feel he knew his stuff. He didn't tack on extra unnecessary prong repairs just to bump up the price. From our conversation, he told me he has been a bench jeweler since he was 25. Since he does his own work, he doesn't have to charge us extra to pay for the jeweler doing the work. He's not just an owner that doesn't touch the pieces, he does everything and is extremely skilled at his craft. His quotes are transparent and he explains why the cost is what he is charging. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at a jewelry store. I walked away finding a gentleman and a businessman I knew I TRUSTED. He did impeccable work on my set and he didn't break the bank in the process. I will be coming back! If you want an honest jeweler that knows his craft and is skilled enough to do the work on his own, come to Gillespie Fine Jewelers-he won't disappoint!
