I reached out to his boss who assured me that Jimmy would be there last week as promised but again another excuse and he didn't show. Jimmy seemed like a great guy, he was polite, he cleaned up after he worked and was good with my dog and my kids. But how I was ghosted, lied to and ignored is absolutely terrible, I'm out $310 and over 4 months of frustration and I am back to square one.

Our experience with this company has had its ups and downs. We love our new floors and feel that…read morethey were installed extremely well. The employees in our home were knowledgeable and did great, efficient work. However, some logistical issues and their handling of property damage have left us unwilling to use them for future home projects. A dumpster was left in our driveway during the project time, which we expected. However, we did not expect the dumpster to be left 4 days past the project completion date. Unfortunately, it was left over a long, rainy weekend which resulted in rust stains across our brand new driveway from where it was sitting and where it dripped as it was being pulled away. They did send a specialist out to address these stains but they weren't able to get most of them out after 6 hours of work. Jeremy offered to send a specialist out again to try another chemical on the concrete. This driveway is less than a year old, so we were not willing to add more chemicals and work to the driveway without working with the company who installed it. Jeremy insisted it would be fine and refused to compensate us for damage. He also claimed that not all of the rust stains were from them, which is simply not true. He has since stopped replying to our communication, so we are cutting our losses. We would have been a little more understanding if this damage occurred during the project time and/or if Jeremy was willing to discuss compensation rather than throwing more chemicals at it. While we love our new floors, unfortunately our driveway is now likely permanently stained due to them using our driveway as dumpster storage over a long rainy weekend. We were told that they'd come get it the day after the project was completed if their baseball games were cancelled, so it appears that these games took priority over moving their heavy equipment off our property. The interior work was amazing and we were hoping to use this company for some interior painting jobs in the future. However, their handling of this situation has us looking for another company to help with our painting.

An exploded fuel oil furnace, and its' pending replacement, warranted my need for a chimney sweep…read more I called New Buck, along with a couple of others, and within 24 hours they were my only return call. Eddie, the owner, came out, cleaned the chimney, was reliable and professional. He also informed me that my chimney had mortar deterioration and that a liner was required prior to my new fuel oil furnace install. The furnace company confirmed this and his price of $2,200. We set a date for the install, but at day one and day two, he stated that the liner had not come in. By day 3 afternoon I was nervous that perhaps I was being scammed, and that my $1,100 deposit was going to be stolen with no completion of work. I told Eddie my concern. He was justly upset, promised me that was not the case, showed up at my home to drop off ladder and supplies to comfort me while he headed to Columbus to retrieve the liner. Upon his return, we discussed his difficulties finding good help, the problems facing business owners today, and his fears. As a small business owner for 35+ years, I acknowledge and sympathize with what entrepreneur's face in today's market. Bottom line, I am giving him a perfect star for perfect effort.
