My house was built in 1952 and the time had come for new trim in many areas and for the reconditioning of the remaining trim - all exterior corner boards, windows, doors, and casing trim, wooden gutters, and dormers. Throughout the project, decisions were required as to whether elements should be replaced or repaired. Oleg did an outstanding job and I can say without hesitation that I would rehire him. In fact, I have him back every year for maintenance tasks (house gets battered as it is close to the ocean on the south side of the Island). Let me point to the aspects of Oleg that work for me: First, Oleg is well educated and smart. But, as important, he's also curious about what works and doesn't work with respect to process and materials and consults with others to work on continuous improvement. When you couple this with a high standards and an interest in quality, you have a winning combination. Second, Oleg's team are fastidious with the prep work. And, they have the tools to do the prep properly. Again, high standards. Third, Oleg is systematic and process oriented. Step by step. I have watched the process and I can say with confidence that each area got the right treatment. This also helps with neatness. They work a specific area and then move on with their tools and drop cloths in a methodical way. Non-intrusive approach. And, post job clean-up is also about as good as it gets. Oleg does not mess-up your environment when he painting and after he's gone, there are no tracks left behind. I will also say that they are hardworking. You certainly get an hour of work for an hour of pay. You don't even have to think about it. Overall, this is the first painter I have ever had where I can claim 100% satisfaction. When the time comes for a complete redo, Oleg will be at the top of my list. As they say, the proof is in the pudding. The house looks as good today as it did in 2016 when Oleg completed the job first time around. Last, Oleg is directly involved in each of his projects, as a painter and as a project leader.
